Signs were there in the first round that this team doesn't have it. Tampa looked like the better team despite missing Cernak, a seriously compromised Hedman, and Vasi not looking like himself. I tried convincing myself that maybe Tampa was just a lot better than people realized to stay positive.

Would have preferred chocking in the 1st round instead of lucky bounces and fluking into a series win. Could have moved on to newer management with new and fresh outlook

if dubas and keefe are f***ing extended just after 1 series win I am gonna be taking a mental health break from the leafs.

I don't have any issues with the defense or goaltending. 3 goals against wasn't good, but it should have been more than good enough to win. The team can't expect to win after scoring just two goals, the offense is just not good enough

Still, not mad. Played well, a minute and bit to start the second did us in. That's it. Still think we've played better than the Tampa series. Just has come down to goaltending. If Tampa's goalie played like Florida's goalie did tonight, we wouldn't have made it out of the first round.

Florida didn't win, we lost.

That 2nd period start was a nightmare. Sloppy lazy hockey, giveaway after giveaway in our own end and it cost us the entire f***ing game.

We need the same effort in the 3rd for 60minutes and this series is winnable.

If a team can lose a whole series in 1.5 minutes, the Leafs pretty much showed us how in the most efficient way possible.

Half the cap on 4 forwards. The team lives and dies by them putting the puck in the net or not.

The core 4 have zero goals this series. As such, the leafs are down 2-0 this series.

Losing this one hurts, Matthews and Marner wetting the bed...this is not regular season hockey, does Marner understand? Still can't believe he passed that puck back to Matthews near his own blueline when all he needed to do was skate it out.
