Ah well. If they keep playing like they did for about 50 minutes of the game I would expect they will win at least one. They were destroyed for about 10 minutes of the second (where panthers didn’t even score) but aside from that they were all over them. Kind of a weird series. Could easily be up 2 games to none. Leafs deserved the bad luck they got by how they let Florida get the lead

Tonight proved this team is not cup contender calibre. The idea that once they got past the first round would allow this team to play to it's full potential is gone. Not the right mentality with this group.

This is looking like a sweep .. Leafs' just can't put in a full 60 and get it done. Even if it's not, there's no way they can come back to win 4 in 5.

Bobrovsky was great tonight but two home games to start the series and Matthews/Marner/Nylander didn't even register 1 goal.

NJ had this exact same situation 1st round where they lost the first two games on home ice and then made a goalie switch to Schmid,
