Bobrovsky was great tonight but two home games to start the series and Matthews/Marner/Nylander didn't even register 1 goal.

NJ had this exact same situation 1st round where they lost the first two games on home ice and then made a goalie switch to Schmid,

Nylander took the responsibility. Not enough from Matthews and Marner again, especially Mitch. Guy shrinks the bigger the stakes get.

Tavares is a waste of money. Can get the 5on5 production as his for about 5 mil around the league.

And then spend the other 6 on a)scoring help b) someone who can defend c) a goalie for once.

The series isn’t over but it’s going to take some serious guts and a mental fortitude to get back into this. Leafs need to do a lot more to disrupt Bobrovsky and they need to take better care of the puck. That last part is a recording.

Leafs go into game 3 up 2-0 if Keefe left Matthews-Nylander together.

They dominated period 1 last game, there was no reason to split them up. Both he and Nylander finish with 3 points from period 2 and on if they played together tonight. If you watched this game beginning to end I will be shocked if you don't agree with me.

Not starting the 2nd period on time cost the game. Nylander with a f***ing brutal give away. Marner with a stupid pass on the next shift, Matthews trying to dance with the puck, 2 goals in a minute. Bobrovsky does his best Hasek impression, Panthers win.

Can these guys for once just play a complete f***ing 60 minute game, where they're not completely asleep for a couple minutes stretch ? We dominated the entire game other than the first 90 seconds of the 2nd, Panthers capitalized on that and won. Still can't believe we didn't score anything after the first 2, unreal amount of scoring chances.

Exactly, holy f*** our philosophy is offence. If all it takes is any mediocre, let me repeat, MEDIOCRE goaltender to shut us down, then what is the f***ing point of the forwards

Might as well build the next islanders but with 40 million in the top 4 and like 2-3 1st liners with a bunch of grinders. Mold into winning 2-1 everytime
