JT not burying those chances was the least of the worries. I counted atleast half a dozen instances in the game where he just needlessly turns the puck over and kill all the offensive momentum.

JT and Marner do not like being hit.

Matthews is huge so he eats ‘em, and Willy is big enough but a lot slicker.

Our stars can't score in the playoffs yet Pavelski can pot 4 in his sleep. Doesn't seem fair does it. This team is cursed plain and simple. Fun to watch during the season (unless they play lousy teams ) but when the Chips are down, ugh.
I'd love to eat crow here with a huge comeback, feathers, beeks and talons but it doesn't look good. They simply can't outscore their opponents in playoffs.
Goaltending isn't good. Before Sammy couldn't lose at home, now that's all he does.

The leafs dominating and not winning is not new. If series wins and losses could have their own series, the leafs are 3-0 when dominating like this. We are getting ready for the sweep of series losses when dominating

Where is the net crashing? Just because Florida is giving the permitter doesn't mean you need to pass it 30 times before trying to snipe a corner. The exact same way they've lost to every other team they should have beaten in the last decade, it's not that complicated.

This series is not lost yet. Leafs are clearly snake bit, Florida has been opportunistic and Bobrovski has been fantastic. Obviously game 3 is a must win. Although they have more to give, Toronto has seemed like the more dangerous team, albeit the sloppier one too

Florida did turn it on late in the season to beat out a team like Pittsburgh for that spot too. They didn't glide in, they had to come back after a poor start to the season.

How come this team cant get Matthews any looks on a man advantage? Marner is useless on the halfboards, he has no shot and the opposition is glad to give him the shot. Need Tavares, Matthews, Nylander to be taking the shots.

Yep, that is why not having Nylander on PP1 is ridiculous. O'Reilly should play bumper and Tavares needs to drop to PP2.

One way to look at tonight is maybe it'll be a slap in the face they can't coast and play like shit for even two minutes. If they played even half as good in the second as they did in the first and third, it's an easy 1-1 series.

Really think they should move Nylander up and see if putting him with Matthews and Marner would get them all going. They need to score.
