They had two (conflicting) directives:

- play meaningful games (pre-Chychrun)
- just have fun (post-Chychrun)

I think they’re failing at both.

Lol you're such a bad faith poster. I know its mostly on purpose but you're really stretching this schtick thin.

You'll pretend like you're on board with letting DJ go if we lose the next few but if we blow out some random team here and there you'll be right back to pumping DJ's tires like it was your sole purpose in life.
Hilarious to call me a bad faith poster, when all I do is call out people's bullshit reasons to attack DJ.

You say I never criticize DJ, but when I do criticize him (which I've done repeatedly in the past), you say it's in bad faith. What kind of f***ed up logic is that? What do you want from me?

Wait, so DJ actually thinks we have a shot at the playoffs if we play close to .500 hockey through March??

I think he’s just trying to protect the group there. We need to do better at the moment, back-to-back loses isn’t a season ender, but it could destroy confidence in a room.

Look forward is all we can do.

Not with the way the teams we're chasing are playing.

Hard not to be annoyed when the team had this fanbase hyped up post deadline, went out and put on convincing shows against the Rangers and Jackets, and then left for the road trip only for that momentum and excitement to vanish like a fart in the wind.

Maybe there are some players that may be more critical of their own play now that we ‘alleviated’ our biggest problem by bringing in Chychrun.

Our breakdowns on the pk are acceptable becuase the other team has an extra player.

Meanwhile when we have an extra player the other team gets odd man rushes against us

DJ is going to mention how we took penalties in the first period

Tomaayto / tomato, potaayto / potato...

I find it equally amusing that you praise DJ for everything positive yet refuse to hold him accountable for anything negative... In your world DJ negatives are always somebody else's fault.
False. I treat DJ fairly. I will compliment him where he deserves to be complimented, and I'll criticize him where he deserves criticism.

Unlike some here, I look at the facts and reality, then build a narrative around that. Others around here build a narrative, then selectively ignore facts that go against that narrative. It's mind-blowing that so many around here flat out refuse to give DJ any credit for how good our special teams have been this year. They'll fish out any excuse possible, like "special teams play themselves, the players are just good, etc." in order to refuse to give DJ any credit.

This is crunch time. You have to think. Tkatchuk Batherson debrincat stutzle Chabot chychrun. Most of our core. Have all gotten paid massive money to put up point and play zero defence. They’ve all been paid to lose. And they look lost right now when they have to win.

DJ is in the same boat. It’s a bad mix of rebuilding coach and guys that all went though rebuilds and got paid because of it

Supporting DJ Dorion despite all we went through during this rebuild is a serious case of coping denial or whatever it’s called in english

We need a new vision/direction but unfortunately we are already painted in a corner in terms of roster

I feel that the PK can get the job done because they can clear the puck.

At 5v5, they are poor at transitionning the puck and they can't clear it. Which result in a lot of breakdown when they are not sharp.

Gord Wilson trying to find excuses for Stutzle to use but he's having none of it. He's well aware of how poorly they played and using the schedule as an excuse won't cut it. I'm glad the kid knows what's up.
I f***ing love Stutzle's interviews. It's surprising how candid he is in interviews. I have no doubt he's next in line to get an A on his jersey.

Many teams would kill to be painted into this corner. Cannot fault Dorion for the core he’s put together. Two top centers. 3 top pairing d men. 2 elite wingers.

DJ should get some credit for the special teams being good but then so should the assistants who are in charge of the units.

Chicago game…it truly felt the season was lost after that game (despite the win in Seattle). Losing 5-0 was discouraging, and showed our old ways have a tendency to creep back in (which felt like they overcame since the 5 game winning streak).

Here we are losing 5-2, 5-1 back to back nights. Quite the letdown from 1 week ago…maybe they can find their magic again but it’s gonna be too little too late
