The Tavares injury is no excuse for losing this game though, stuff like that happens all the time. Pacioretty got his face caved in by Chara. Only losers would wilt instead of using it as motivation.

If he's incapable then get a different trainer or have 2 trainers respond? I understand how players react and the staff's first job is to prevent that from happening because there's a major risk for worsening the injury, which we saw when JT fell over backwards. It was horrific and I think it was avoidable.

I don’t get the point your making. The trainer did the best thing possible. He didn’t force Tavares back down (which could also cause even more damage), he kept him as calm as he could until someone could help subdue. You’re trying to place blame where there shouldn’t be any blame. The trainer did a fine job under the circumstances.
