Leafs look nervous as Montreal carried more of the play that 1st period.
They didn't allow Toronto to do shit.

If you’ve already jumped off the deep end, after one period, under those circumstances, it actually says more about your weaknesses and why you’ve never been successful at ANYTHING in you “life”.
Relax.
Yes thats it, I'm sure he did that on 'purpose' try again.Perry ran into him on purpose, of course he didn't mean to injure him like that. But he totally meant to bump him.
The Tavares injury is no excuse for losing this game though, stuff like that happens all the time. Pacioretty got his face caved in by Chara. Only losers would wilt instead of using it as motivation.

As a ducks fan, my team just set the record for worst power play in modern history.... so I def feel thatThat pp was 1000x better than anything Ive seen for a long time.
It was the fact that he jumped. If he would have absorbed the contact, it would have been nothing.thank you! Skate to the right of him, he didn’t have to try and jump over him
This is the biggest issue. f*** this "playoff mentality" bullshit the league and refs let teams get away with. Call it the same as the regular season or the league will continue to be a joke.Certainly helps when the NHL is going out of its way to allow teams to take liberties on you year after year...
Double shift Matthews.I ain't a fan of separating Matthews and Marner. These boys have to learn how to take over a series already and from the way they feed off eachother it's most likely they'd do it on the same line.

I wonder if maybe something happened to rattle the Leafs?
"This is a recording"Nylander is not engaged at all .
If he's incapable then get a different trainer or have 2 trainers respond? I understand how players react and the staff's first job is to prevent that from happening because there's a major risk for worsening the injury, which we saw when JT fell over backwards. It was horrific and I think it was avoidable.
Another shit period, another shit powerplay.
No way the Leafs wins this series.
