Here's the story from atop 330- so one of my friends spilled beer on the lady companion of the Lundqvist jersey wearing lad in front of him when we scored the 1st goal. He understandably stood up and was like wtf? Before anyone else even knew what was up, the 2 white T-shirt wearing were in our face saying "he's alone there's 5 of you". Then the usher came down...my friends had no idea what was even going on tbh. I assured them that the Lundqvist jersey wearing guy wasn't alone. It all ended up them shaking hands. Of course trying to be a buffer more for my friends, as either one of them would've felt the lot of us our lunch.
Before I left to go downstairs for the end of the game, I thanked them for showing the part of NY I'm proud of, stickin up for the 1 against many.

Come to find out at the end of the game, after I left, the one went and swung on my boy that continued to run his mouth a bit. Def coulda done without that tbh.

I know we joke about how bad it is having home ice since we suck at home, but one saving grace here is the pressure and atmosphere of any championship game is definitely ramped up. It is a new feeling for anyone that has never been there.

We have several players that have never been there or even sniffed it. Being to experience that at home I think is easier than opening on the road and feeling the thousands of people bearing down on you.

Plus a 4ot game followed up by another ot game, even though it was a sweep thats gonna be brutal on a goalie.

I think more than anyone he knows what happened last year and this is his last chance at a cup, prob get the best bob performance hes ever put on.

Bob has faced 200 less shots in 2 less games so far this run.
