my superstition is where if i feel horrible about the matchup, we win.
Last year i thought boston was gonna rail us 4-1 (almost happened too), i wasnt too sure if we were gonna beat the leafs cause i remember last year where we just took off the 2nd round, and then i thought carolina would just suffocate us. Only series i felt good on was vegas.
at the time i didnt think hill was that insane and while they had a solid roster up and down, i didnt think they had any elite talent to get through to bob who up to that point was godly. Thought it would be cats in 5

This year I was kinda iffy vs tampa even though they were a shell, they were on a heater after the TDL and vasi was back to form.
Was iffy vs boston cause they swept us in the regular season and swayman was just ridiculous the whole year.
Didnt think wed make it past the NYR with their special teams and goalie, expected the canes to sweep them and to see them get beat by the rags got me worried. Plus Panarin just always scores vs bob, the fact he only got one was amazing.
Expected the canucks and dallas to win, and they lost both. Oilers special teams and defense scare me, esp their top players.
