I hope they don’t play like they’re afraid to take a penalty. I know the Oilers are a cheat code on the powerplay but if we’re going to win this series we have to really amp up the physicality on them. Can’t let McDavid and Draisaitl play their game without paying the price

Frustrating when they still treat it like a minority sport.

I watched the Rugby World Championship last year on ProSiebenMaxx, they did a fantastic job including the newbies and the hardcore fans

the other thing I've been thinking about is that I don't think we've seen the best game from the panthers yet. I kept saying in the first series that it didn't feel like playoff hockey. yet we won easily. the Bs series had it's moments but I think this last series saw some periods of dominance. I get the feeling the guys have been trying to manage their energy expenditure so as to be actually at peak in the SCF (rather than at the end of the first round).

Agreed. To some degree they've turned on the economy-mode and, hopefully, saved their best effort for the last series. I was expecting a bit more snarl and hitting compared to the previous season. I'm confident that the Panthers will win the Cup and I'm hoping that ppl on the main board will pick the Soilers to win the Cup so that the disappointment will hit harder for all the haters out there.

The most hilarious part about this playoff run is that even Broons fans were annoyed by the Panthers' style of play even though they've played like this the past 10-15 years, Marchard at the helm ofc.

If Panthers can pepper Skinner like they did Swayman, Vasily & Igor I definitely think they can bump their goals for totals. Skinner got hot during the WCF, but not sold on him being legit in this series as long as we can sustain pressure. Something I think they will need to do as keeping McDavid and Leon quiet for a series will be tough to do. Maybe they can get both to pull a Kuch and become a perimeter player/frustrated.

Would love for Barkov to get on the scoresheet a little more in the finals, can't complain about the rest he has done this playoffs, but i do think we need it to match Connor and Drai.

Heres Barky vs Edmonton is his career, outside of the early parts he has done pretty well against the Oilers.

The main reason why Edmonton hit that high against Dallas and others is because the play always runs thru MickeyD and he’s allowed to roam the ice freely. Cutting down their success rate comes from playing MickeyD with physical force. Enough figure skating, time for hockey.

Easier said than done though. Nobody can skate with him, that's the problem and you essentially have to choose your poison between him or Drai. Take away McDavid and he'll pass it to Drai who's a machine on the side wall scoring goals.
