I'm pretty sure this is the biggest game in NHL history, or it's at least in the conversation. There has been nothing quite like it in the 33 years I've been watching. The implications are insane - feels like we are watching the entire league at a crossroads.

3-0 will no longer feel insurmountable.

Oilers winning three straight just to lose in game seven would be the most Edmonton thing ever.

McDavid absolutely willing his team to a game seven victory is also the most McDavid thing ever.

Not sure what happens.

In my opinion it doesn’t matter what the skaters do this game, it just depends on which Skinner/Bob show up.

McDrai can have the game of their life but if Bob is on, they are in trouble. McDrai can also have the game of their life, but if Skinner is off they are in trouble.
Honestly getting swept or reverse sweeping are also both very Oilers things. Losing in 5/6 was never in the cards.

As someone who's not a fan of either team, I cannot wait for tonight's game.

It's essentially the Florida Panthers wanting to save their legacy from choking a 3-0 lead in the finals versus McDrai wanting to finally get a cup on their resume.

This must be like what neutral fans watching Canucks/Blackhawks in 2011 felt like (albeit this is a much larger scale).

I, for one, am hoping for a controversial ending.

Triple OT, kicked in goal. 10 minute video review. You know it's coming.

Feels a lot like Game 7 2006. Oilers fought back in Game 5, from being down 3-1 shorthanded in OT.
2006 Oilers were a Cinderella team. The current team is totally different (one of the best players ever to play breaking a Gretzky record, more points in a playoffs than anyone not named Wayne or Mario, etc.) Even of they lose tonight they will be a contender again...

Let’s hope the NHL doesn’t fumble the ball here and gives the Oil are fair chance at this.

A chance to really put the League in the mainstream with a sporting story that will be amongst the greatest anyone’s ever seen. The McD era pays off huge for the League tonight. Gary Bettman will repent for preventing this for so long.

Respect to Edmonton for making it competitive. But now it's time for the Flobros to wake the hell up and stop playing with their food. Sorry Canada, the drought continues.

Man their food has been absolutely destroying them lately. Maybe they should have tried waking up earlier…. Oh wait, they did.
