Thus far the officiating has been subpar. Mcdavid and Draisaitl constantly have to battle against clutch and grab type bs and the refs just look away. It's obvious for even the most casual fans of the game that the league desperately wants the Panthers to win their first Cup instead of letting the more deserving team to win it. It's absolutely pathetic.

Nice having that attractive tax structure to offset the fact of having to live in Florida.

On a side note, I always found it funny that some of the most expensive and exclusive real estate anywhere in America is called “Indian creek” talk about adding insult to injury. If they’re going to make the Redskins change their name, maybe make the billionaires playground a little less in your face insulting. Normandy shores is another good one. We will honour those who died for our freedom by naming severely overpriced real estate after the location where they suffered huge casualties. In that neighborhood storming the shores of Normandy means closing your storm shutters before a hurricane makes landfall.

A major problem in game 1 was I didn't get to see the Panthers generational forecheck that the 30 actual Panther fans and 500 trolls on this site keep telling me about.

That said, tonight will be the night that we get to see it and I can’t wait. Sit back and watch Mr Underrated play all 200 feet and just soak up Bennet playing elite agitator hockey all over the nice while not taking stupid penalties.

Anyway, there is no way the Panthers take tonight off as well, they always get better and better as a series goes on and oh they are even better on the road. Cats in 3!

Did they? This year? By and large Boston fans were surprised at the regular season success and expecting to lose to the panthers who were acknowledged to be the better team. That’s what I saw among bruins fans. Didn’t see “can’t believe we lost to a team from Florida” and if that exists out there in any substantial form maybe you can solidify your comment with some evidence?

Panthers very well may sweep the Oilers. It will take a massive Floridian flop for the panthers to lose.

Goalies can win you a series. Only so much you can do when you dominate the game but the other goalie is playing at Hasek level. Bobrovsky is amazing. Seeing him compared to Skinner in terms of how mobile and confident they are in the net is night and day.

I expect Edmonton to outplay Florida for most of the series...I don't think any team can hang with Edmonton but goaltending is always going to be the difference maker for this group.
