I think this will be another good game. The Oilers will solve Bobrovsky tonight, but the question will be if they can clean up the couple big mistakes that cost them last game.
I also completely expect Florida to have a better game too, they won the game but im sure outside of the 3rd period, they weren't happy with their game. Which is what you want from a cup team, to strive for better, even after a win.

I'm sure Kane is just trembling at the thought of fighting any panther who he would probably still beat the shit out of while injured. Bennett would have done the same thing if an oiler ran into barkov accidentally on purpose.
Tkachuk is a spot picker and won't fight a guy bigger than him. Yeah Florida plays physical but their entire team is filled with a bunch of fake tough guys outside of Bennett. He's the only one in their normal lineup who will fight a guy like Nurse or Kane. Don't pretend they have a list of guys lining up to fight Kane.

Gadjovich and Lomberg will f*** them both up. They'll just have to wait till the regular season, though Lomby may play. But keep thinking Kane is some guy players fear. What a joke.

Lmao, Lomberg isn't a "boat anchor," he's possibly the fastest skater we have and has potted some nice game winners in post seasons prior. We're just that deep, so no, your point wasn't proven. Kane's just a joke and the league knows it.

Maurice and all the Panthers interviewed said they started slow, and it's been a problem for them in these playoffs. (Starting slow) There's no doubt you're gonna get a better Panthers team this game.

Where was Kane Saturday when the Panthers roughed up McDavid and Hyman on two separate occasions in front of the net?
Lomberg would probably beat the piss out of him, and Gadjovich would mop the floor with him but they're not playing.
The only thing Kane beats the shit out of are quarter slots. He's a pseudo tough guy.

I mean you always want to see your team win but if I had to pick a team to lose to from the East playoff teams, the Panthers would probably be at the top of that list. They’ve been around quite a while now and have never won a cup. Plus before I moved to Edmonton in my teens I was a Colorado Avalanche fan and got to enjoy seeing Uwe Krupp crush their dreams back in the 90’s, so it would be a bit of poetic justice for me personally. Though that series wasn’t particularly close and I think this series will be closer which in my opinion makes it more heartbreaking for the loser.
Either way it shakes out though as an Oilers fan, I’ll be happy with their season. Seeing them start to realize their full potential as a team and be able to win in different ways and play tight defensive hockey when they need to. They will be able to keep the team intact for another run next year and possibly even add depending on what they do this summer. Also, ending the Canucks season is a real nice consolation prize, between that, a cup finals appearance, and seeing the growth of a team overcoming situations they would of folded in the past is all positives.
Thats said, there’s still a lot of hockey and with McDavid and Draisaitl I don’t think this team is ever out of it. They are special players and they are so close, I wouldn’t bet against them doing some near mythical shit. Like the mother who summoned otherworldly strength to lift a burning house off her baby. I actually think that happened in Florida as well, the crazy stories always happen in Florida.
