Im aware of his play but who is the guy he wanted? Minten could have fallen to third round and still got him.Don’t look now but Minten is at 2 pts/GP while being a defensive beast!
Put down the bottle brother!Trade a first rounder for Campbell.

Maybe they can only trade down half a round. A blogger says it's only worth a 7th round pick.Trade a first rounder for Campbell.

What? Since Petruzelli is currently on an AHL contract any team, literally any team, could sign him to an NHL contract. Since no team has, why do you think they would claim him on waivers?Basically if Petruzelli comes up we're gonna lose him when he has to go back down no way he clears waivers
To make your argument Minten would have to be compared to who he originally wanted. Geniuses don't sign a guy then give a first to get rid of him. To me he is gambling. So, in your opinion, they should trade up for the guy they want but not pick the guy they want if it’s higher than CSS? So much for confidence in your scouting that you are preaching.
Even if he’s played well and so far justified the pick?
Seems like a can’t win scenario here in your opinion

uh cause Calvin Pickard got picked off of us and he stunk and Petru is doing well in the AHL and lots of teams could use a backup and of course...the LeafsWhat? If they retain 50% you got yourself a deal good buddyTrade a first rounder for Campbell.
Ok at what point do we have to question the leafs training staff? Ice??? Whoever
Freddie. Mystery knee
Jack. Knee and groin. Twice
Woll.
Murray
Sammy.
Mrazek
It seems like lots of injured goalies. Some had priors but wow
The entire league has injury histories… that’s the nature of a physical sport.Foligno back injury
Nash Knee
Murry
Mrazek
These players have had a history of injuries
That's not on our training staff, that's on super GM and pro scouts who only looks at data sheets, not games
Dubas hasn't done so great trying to rig up goalies...

Unfortunately with injuries there's no real guaranteed prevention options.
Athletes will be injured, it's ultimately just a matter of time
Mrazek is injured, and Chicago is in the same goalie mess the Leafs are, This past week they signed former Oiler Dylan Wells, who started the season with their ECHL affiliate.Dubas said the guy we wanted got taken. Meaning 1 or 2 spots before he pulled the trigger. A good GM trades up if it's a star. I simply don't agree with Dubas throwing away picks. How is Mrazek playing cause now we could use him. If we lose first round again I want 3 firings and bringing in proven management. This has been one long experiment. How many of Dubas picks will have impact? Will he trade another first to get out of his own mess..again?
I wonder who we sign? Afterall, we only have one goalie who could walk next year.Mrazek is injured, and Chicago is in the same goalie mess the Leafs are, This past week they signed former Oiler Dylan Wells, who started the season with their ECHL affiliate.
