Week to Week.

That could mean 1 week, 2 weeks, 12 weeks or anything in between.

I wonder how long it will be before Dubas starts looking for a goalie because you can't have Kallgren and and a backup with no experience long term.

I know Murray is somewhat close but he barely gave them a game before he got hurt.

Depending on what week to week means Dubas might have to make a move in net

Kallgren is absolute dog water. If they have to rely on him for any significant amount of time, I’m going to write this season off, he is terrible in every sense of the word imaginable. I can’t describe how terrible he is. It’s not like tonight was the reason why they won, he had to make like five saves, I hope he doesn’t play tomorrow, God I hate him.

Ranting turned off, I feel better now, please continue.
are you sure youre finished?
No patience in rookies huh? ever?

I'm thrilled it was the oilers who ended up being the ones to pick up that grenade
i'd rather roll with Campbell than that piece of shit first aid kit of a goalie in Murray

Oh, don't worry. In addition to being a horrible goalie, Campbell is made of glass too, remember?

Edmonton can enjoy all 5 years of that catastrophe, while the Leafs only have a 2 year commitment to the younger goalie who is gone after next season, and is cheaper.

If Skinner keeps it going could be shorter than 5 years.

Does Kallgren have to go through waivers if we get both goalies back?

Have you not watched ANY hockey this season outside of the Leafs?
Or do you just choose to ignore Jack Campbell's horrific numbers so far in Edmonton?

Statistically he's 29th amongst starting goalies in the NHL currently. There's 32 teams.

Saw week to week but missed this earlier. Seems much more promising now.

Maybe by the following weekend Leafs potentially have the top 2 guys going finally. Would be nice.

Kallgren really has filled in admirably and played much better than I would of expected.

Nice

Nah, i've been staring at a wall since October 12th, no shit einstein.

LOL its so early in the season, I didnt know a player cant ever get better as the season goes on. He played great against Tampa. DId you see it???

Campbell's been sum of all fears in Edmonton thus far. Maybe he would be more comfortable in Toronto but Dubas aggressively moving off of him was probably the right call.
He'll get better, still early.

Sure did - flopped around in game 6 OT & lost the game, just like he couldn't provide a big save the year before in Montreal game 6 OT.

He also had like 2 very solid months last year, including a lights out unsustainable November. Other than that, he's struggled - just like he is now. There's nothing to suggest that Jack Campbell has the ability to bounce back and deliver consistent stellar above average NHL goaltending.

Even though Murray is oft injured, the chances of overlapping injuries is low.

Murray is back this weekend.

So we had to give kallgren a few starts in November. I reiterate - not a big deal.
Except in the case of the Leafs the chance of overlapping injuries was 100%.
With Murray being such a fragile guy the percentage as alway more then low he would be hurt often

I agree with you but I think that the poster you replied to was talking about how he played against TB on Tuesday this week. This is who Jack is! Jack has more mid games than he has elite games. This has been the worst possible start for a mentally fragile goalie the same can be said for us with MM nothing says i told you so like you oft injured goalie getting injured in his second start and him telling the media that it came out of nowhere. Really Matt you didnt see yourself getting injured?

Thank god we didn’t sign Campbell on that 5 year contract. His play last season in the new year was awful so no surprise that continued.

Good for him on cashing in but he’s definitely going to be hearing it from the Edmonton fans if his game doesn’t quickly improve.

In net for 7 goals against the Hurricanes last night... Ouch.

Dubas dodged a bullet for sure.

.873 on the season is UGLY, hopefully for Jack's sake this is the low point.
