I suggest reading the last month on the Rangers board to realize we have no idea what is going to happen. All we know right now is this Rangers team is good. A case can be made for a full sell, soft selling this season and next, or soft buying. There is no full on buy (but that may not be necessary anyways).Saginaw was near the top of the standings last year when they traded Mintuykov...is Kitchener really in a talent acquisition position? Right now there's about 7 guys averaging approx. a point per game or more. 6 of those 7 guys are 19/20 years old (only Rehkopf is a 05). That tells me that they're either in a go-for-it year where they should be making moves with some of their younger players, or they should be dealing a couple of those older guys, making the playoffs as a 4/5 seed and see what happens (similar to what Saginaw did last year). They can get a pretty big haul for some of those guys and if it was me, you sacrifice this year a little to be really good for the next 2-3 years and maybe even put in to host the next Memorial Cup. It all depends on what Kitchener wants to do but there's certainly going to be offers for some of those guys...there was a lot of talk in the offseason about Saginaw and Kitchener doing a deal.
