He has looked really good on the PP. Smooth with the puck, confident and getting pucks through.

IMO he's not the worlds best PP pointman mainly because his shot isn't going to scare anyone but he handles the puck well and is mobile and can move it to his teammates well enough. As long as he's not asked to be the shooter he's good enough in that spot. It is harder for him to setup Zib for the one timer since he's a lefty but the PP is going along alright regardless

He has consistently been the best player on the ice this season. No idea if its because he is finally healthy and comfortable with the "C", but he is playing like a Norris Trophy winner. Good for him and the team!

I think playing in the World Cup helped him hit the ground running.

The trash this guy has been saddled with for the past 4 years is a criminal offense.

He should be able to complain to the PA.

He's playing like a Norris candidate. So excited to have him back to his dominant self. Get him a real partner and he'll really take off.

His career is forever going to be tainted by a coaches inability to pair defenders correctly. He is much better then he gets to show because he has to cover for Girardi ALL THE TIME.

Imagine if Captain was afforded a player like Trouba flanking him instead of that Yacht Anchor to his right.

He'd probably feel 100 pounds lighter skating out there.

He's been absolutely spectacular to start the season. Goodness. This is the best hockey I've seen a D play here in a long time.

When I've been talking about McDonagh not being good the last two years, this is the guy I was talking about.

I get the high standards I do (I'm like that with Hank) but I think the problem is you refused to admit that McDonagh was a good player albeit an underachieving player. At least I can admit that Lundqvist is good but underachieving. Though this season I'm not sure given his age.

I've never said McDonagh wasn't a good player. If he wasn't, he wouldn't be able to hit the highs he did.

I've said was playing like ****. But "playing like" and "is" are very different things.
