Nah, there's no Blackhawks deal being made. You don't scout a team that hard for that many games if it's not something big. I have a feeling the Hawks and Avs were talking Jones, but since it never materialized there's likely no deal to be made anymore.

I imagine the Avs likely tried for Jones, realized they couldn't give the Hawks what other teams could, and pivoted to Lindgren who didn't cost nearly as much.
