Will miss All Stars events because of illness. Hope he'll still play at the First Channel Cup for Russian young stars.
He actually had Covid back in 2020 in Russia, and then missed a month and a half - quite a long recovery time for a 15 year old. And in Canada, he was the first of the entire team to get infected. Perhaps it's a predisposition.I think Michkov first got COVID in Canada at that abrupted World Juniors. So I blame Canada.
It's not a real country anyway.
What's funny is that the time... Hf was very anti covid regulations. And a lot of Russian (and maybe other) posters were suggesting he was 100 fine and it was just the snifflesI think Michkov first got COVID in Canada at that abrupted World Juniors. So I blame Canada.

Do you know what else correlates with getting physically sick often?maybe he has a problem with diet or drinking hahaha. mostly joking. usually issues with constantly getting sick indicates poor lifestyle habits. sleep, nutrition, etc
Idk all the grief he got from McKeen and his hab lackeys may have done it tooDo you know what else correlates with getting physically sick often?
Grief, especially complicated grief.
He lost his dad 7 months ago, to me that explains and justifies getting sick a lot now. It may not be the reason why but it's a lot more likely than what you are getting at.
really very weird that you felt the need to say one thing is wayyy more likely than another. Especially to a post that said "mostly joking". You're speculating just as much as I am lmfao. It could be either. They're around equally likely. He has a little excess fat. He seems to have conditioning issues. I'm a fan of his. If anything having these issues and being earlier on his developmental curve is kind of a good thing for his long term projection tbhDo you know what else correlates with getting physically sick often?

paywall...Matvei Michkov: A look at the Flyers' top prospect from inside the KHL locker room - PHLY Sports
Matvei Michkov is the Flyers' top prospect, and best hope for a franchise-changing superstar. But who is he really? His KHL teammates pull back the curtain.allphly.com
I spoke to his team-mates, Captain Gleb Koryagin and linemate Artur Tyanulin, to find out more about Michkov both on and off-ice.

I subbed to The Athletic years ago mostly for Charlie. Now I value the rest of it, too, despite you and Charlie leaving. Wish ya'll hadn't. I value leaguewide news in addition to the philly stuff instead of only Philly stuff.Yeh, wish it was not but... well... these days with how media landscape is, if you want to get paid for writing? Well, content will likely have to be paid for.

Man I clicked on the link and it's behind a paywall or subscription but ironically you had to become a diehard member but what one could read sounded like it was straight from the Kremlin PR departmentMatvei Michkov: A look at the Flyers' top prospect from inside the KHL locker room - PHLY Sports

It is almost 32 years to the day that the Russian tricolor flag was first raised over the Kremlin. Christmas Day 1991 marked the dawn of a new era for the largest nation on earth, as the Hammer and Sickle flag was lowered for the final time, and a new Russia emerged. In the coming months, many of the institutions synonymous with the Soviet Union were dismantled, dissolved, or forced to evolve. And from a sporting perspective, nothing represented the Soviet Union and its might more than the “Red Machine."
Making its debut in 1954, the Red Army Team asserted its dominance for the next 37 years: 22 World Championship victories in 34 appearances, seven Olympic gold medals in nine attempts, 73...

Internet ad revenue aint what it once was... and written press in general is in decline. Newspapers are dying and the trickle down is that stuff that used to be free is now not. I dislike it too but that is the world now...

I get all of that but it's 80 bucks a year and most people probably wouldn't mind paying for an article or 2 separately....
Looks like he isSkated with the team this morning, hope he's playing tonight.
