I think its pretty obvious we are focusing our efforts on Bjugstadt or a minor upgrade on RW if available. Bouchard isn’t going anywhere, Holland and Woodcroft have both said its his time in the sun. Part of why Barrie was moved was to give Bouchard the minutes he needs to play his game (OFD).

I already posted saying Duclair is interesting now that he’s back in the lineup.

But another under-the-radar guy who is definitely available and a great skater is…… Athanasiou. I know it didn’t work last time, but he was in the middle of an off-year, while this year (and last year to some extent) he has shown well every time I’ve seen him. He has been playing well with Kane/Toews/Strome etc. (obviously they all have terrible +/- given the circumstances, but 14 Goals is solid)

I would imagine the price on him is much lower now than the last time we acquired him. I think he would still be a definitive upgrade to our top 6 RW. Maybe could be had for a 3rd. Worth it? His stats are practically identical to Taylor Raddysh so if people wanted to go for the size of TR over the speed of AA I could understand it.

This team would be tough as nails if we added Tom Wilson too... that would be alot of grit added just this year with Desharnais, Ekholm, and Kostin. Throw in Kane and Nurse and you've got a team that could go toe to toe with any tough team in the playoffs
