Domi leads the hawks with 27 5v5 points this year. Kane had 25 and Kurashev 18
27 5v5 points puts him 4 on the Oilers. 2 above Nuge and 7 below Drai.
so.....not true.
Huh interesting I think I remember reading the same thing that he was more a PP specialist.

If Yamo goes on ltir until playoffs and Kenny can talk to his buddy Yzerman on retaining Bertuzi I'd be all over that. He's a dirty and gritty player that can score. I think it's a perfect match.

The power play scores at the same clip with Barrie and Bouchard
I know what the stats say. Having some cheap RD experience is valuable as is another option to support this team's elite weapon in event of injury or stalled performance of a young, developing player. Insurance is often not needed ... until it is.

He got traded to Boston

Yzerman is the GM for Boston now?

Where's the Wilson jibber-jabber come my from, deadline wishlist or is there gossip?
Washington is retooling and moving guys. People have speculated they may move on from him if they can get a deal they like before the deadline.

If they were to double retain Domi, they dont even need to move anyone out to fit him in. Just send Shore down.

I wonder about Broberg on the PP. He was the guy down in Bakersfield and put up most of his points that way. Could be an option if Bouchard goes down.

I've heard that Max Domi is insufferable which explains his short stints everywhere he goes.

Could do worse as a rental though.

Wonder if true lol. 2nd seems fair for him. Carolina got him for nothing last year.

Fair enough, Willis had some up flattering stats about him, but hopefully he could help the top-6 on the cheap

Bertuzzi was a perfect fit for this team with hard, greasy skill game. Too bad the salary and market interest were also going to be an issue to make it happen. Have said forever Domi would be a good, reasonable option to look at. Will see.

Domi was on Oilers radio before said he is really good buddies with both McDavid and Nurse, I did get the impression that he was fairly arrogant as a young player so it wouldn't surprise if he rubbed some people the wrong way.

The issue I've had with Domi is two things, there are times when he has looked completely checked out and disinterested, I will say he has been a lot better at being engaged this year in Chicago, but it's still something to be concerned about. The second thing is his defensive game and the really frustrating thing is I know he can play defense and has an aptitude for it, but it's something he's shirked for a lot of his career, he prefers playing a fast and loose style like Chicago has, but on a potential Cup contender being defensively suspect is less acceptable.

To the casual fan they just see that he produces offense and plays with grit, but he's not really getting it done on the other side of the puck. I'm not sure if Domi is just a guy that will wander around getting a bunch of points on bad teams or if he actually has the willingness to accept and thrive in a lesser supplementary scoring role on a good team.

Bouchard's advanced stats to me are like dangerous diarrhea. You can have 1000 good bowel movements but at a critical time you shit your pants.
He was +2 with 19:05 of ice time and should of had that goal count. Also wasn't he on the ice for the Foelgle non-goal?
