to be fair, Hyman wasn't a playoff performer either. He had 13 points and 5 goals in his first 27 playoff games and then popped off for 16 in 16 with 11 goals last year.

Plays center or wing, good shot release, good speed, has a bit of an edge, 53% in the face off dot, I believe he's buddies with McDavid too.

I mean it would be more ideal if he shot right, but all things considered, what's not to like if the price is a 2nd?

I think he'd be a 20+ goal scorer here.

He is in his second NHL season. Last year was a rookie. Young defenders will make dumb moves from time to time. They are magnified when you have a d partner worse then you or just can't cover. Broberg and him worked fine cause of lesser minutes. Kulak is his second most used partner and Kulak is decent, just not a legit top 4 d so they struggled. And all of his other partners were nothing.

Its why young guys often get paired with good vets. When he shits his pants in a critical moment, you have a partner that can cover.

Domi leads the hawks with 27 5v5 points this year. Kane had 25 and Kurashev 18
27 5v5 points puts him 4 on the Oilers. 2 above Nuge and 7 below Drai.

I might sound boring but Holland should just acquire some vets. I really liked the Avs acquiring Eller, those are the guys we should be aiming for.
