We're really riding on Quick for all this, but what has Anze Kopitar done in this series?
Dishing out hits and getting points. Kopitar is the least of the teams problems.

Name the goals.
The only player who's slow on defense for Boston is Chara...think about it...the second slowest is Johnny Boychuk.
It's undisclosed information.
17 goals allowed in 3 games... has that sunk in yet? From the Jennings Trophy as the team that allowed the least amount of goals to the team that has the worst defense in the playoffs.
The Kings didn't even have a stretch like that in January playing Garbage hockey.
Kudos to the Sharks, they want this more(and it shows).

How about you break down all the goals that aren't his fault? Bottom line is he is not making the saves he did in 2012 and 2013 up until the WCF.
His regular season numbers dipped as well.
I love the guy! I'm not calling for him to be shipped out; however, I'm going to say he's playing below his standards when he does so.
Now is one of those times. Even his #1 Fan Sutter believes so.
**** happens. Whatever. This guy helped blow the game against SJ in 2011 and then won the Cup the next season. Chill out.
I think everyone should look at the last page or so, 50 posts or so, and realize that so many different posters have named so many different players from Quick/Brown/Kopitar/Richards to Bernier and ****ing Hickey that this is a team-wide problem and not a scapegoat problem.
Kopitar has been ok, not great but ok...
Sadly though this will be the second playoff's in a row for Kopitar that he is just kinda there.
Not an impact.
It will also be the second year in a row the bottom six has been a highly exploitable part of the Kings game.
I'm not laying this at the feet of Kopitar or Quick or even Richards.
This is a collective problem for the team. When you don't have threats spread out through your lineup, your top guys aren't going to do ****.
When your defense can't manage the puck in their own end or the neutral zone, your top guys aren't going to do ****.
And yes when you give up bad goals, you're not helping anyone. Most of Quick's goals against have come on breaks and out numbered attacks. Could he have saved a few of those? Probably, but they would have been exceptional saves and Quick has had plenty of exceptional saves in this series. We just don't remember them because the results haven't been there.
His biggest **** goal was the first of the series, but he always gives up at least one of those in a series.
I think we need a good case of the Trotz to slightly improve our offense...with Bernie as our offensive coach...

Barry Trotz... The Barry Trotz formerly of Nashville?
He has 3 assists, 0 goals and is a -3. Not exactly playing like he's a top Selke candidate. Tonight he had a FO% of a mere 44.
Sticking Jones out there doesn't lower the goals against. At all. If so many of these goals are easily savable, then putting Jones in should clearly resolve the problems the Kings are facing against the Sharks, but it won't because the goalie position isn't a problem for the Kings in this series.
