Franchise goalie has possibly played his last NHL game.
Trade Bob who wins a Vezina, keeps space cadet
Lose Stanley Cup to the #1 pick that should have been ours
Trade Richards and Carter, they win stanley cup
Zamboni fumes/medical team fallout
Briere has to immediately do damage control because of son
...and who knows - i get a sick feeling that the "two men identified in the 2003 WJC Canada team who had NHL careers" could be familiar faces.

i cant remember if it was the 2nd or 3rd goal but he was just coasting into the zone on the backcheck and his guy ended up scoring from 2 feet away from him lol, he could have broken that play up if he wasnt lazy there. thats a bad habit. maybe its conditioning. hopefully its just conditioning right now.
It was the 3rd. Michkov made a really good play at the begining of the game since than he looked slow and lazy.

Won't blame Matvey for this game, he's just returned after illness and it's the second half of a back-to-back. He plays against Kolosov on wednesday, I hope he gets a good rest befor the game.

oh, and a high end goalie we signed from Russia gets mysteriously sick after being arrested for draft dodging and put on a submarine in the arctic

Possible healthy scratch? I’d rather that than this lingering sickness.
He's not on IR right now, so he's considered a healthy scratch. But I don't know the reason. Hopefully Kokorev just gave him some rest, Michkov looked really bad in terms of conditioning in the last game.

But who would want him? :sarcasm:

If serious, Sochi have a bye week until next tuesday. Good time to keep rehabbing from pneumonia.
Haha, yeah I am just joking. My only real concern about Michkov, founded or unfounded, is that he won't be able to leave Russia so I want him over here ASAP just to ease that part of it.

Noone had any troubles leaving Russia for NHL recently, except Fedotov, but he cheated with army duties. So I'm not too concerned.
Yeah it may be an irrational fear at this point but until he is hereI will remain worried that he will never be here. Haha.

Hershey had a 19 yo russian in their lineup last night. Not sure when he came over but he was born in Russia

If you're about Miroshnichenko, he terminated contract with Avangard by mutual agreement and moved to NA last summer.
