I'd rather they have Anderson Monday vs Florida, Comrie vs Chicago Tuesday and UPL Thursday vs Islanders.
Month and a half away. At that point, probably waive VinnyI guess the question is what is the plan after the TDL when they can't abuse the callups like this anymore.
He won't play Monday or he won't sit Monday? Lol
This makes perfect senseI'd rather they have Anderson Monday vs Florida, Comrie vs Chicago Tuesday and UPL Thursday vs Islanders.
He won’t. I imagine for now, they’ll alternate all 3 until Comrie fully gets up to speed, then it’ll move to a 2/2/1 split (barring illness or injuries).
Rachel Hopmayer thinks the move means UPL doesn't play Monday, probably Tuesday. Does she have any inside Intel? Doesn't make sense to sit him Monday when they play sh*ty Chicago Tuesday
Yeah. I think a few insanely bad trades for Dmen the past few years has completely borked the market.
Risto went for a 1st and 2nd. Seth Jones 1st #6, 1st #12, 2nd #44. Chiarot 1st, 4th, prospect.
So every dman worth a damn is obviously worth the Risto/Jones/Chiarot deal plus another 1st. Am I right?
A market correction is badly needed.
I think middle 6 scoring wingers are also due for a market correction, they're significantly undervalued. See - Reinhart, Buchnevich, etc.

Maybe Vanek has cast a spell on me, but I am really starting to wonder how Bo Horvat would fit into this roster. Right now tire kicking starts with three players including a top prospect.
It's odd how Horvat seems to have a reputation of being good defensively among some fanbases when he really isn't. He just wins face-offs.Not a good fit at all, IMO. We've got Tage and Cozens as our long-term top 2 centers. Horvat would then slot in as a high-priced, mostly-offense 3rd line center?
If we're going to pay someone what Horvat will demand (in both acquisition cost AND contractual cost), I'd rather that person be a bit more well rounded.
Friedman reiterated what Marek said about Portillo going to free agency.
He also said Sabres are looking for a trade partner for Hino
In the off-season, you mean?Just saw that. We need some beef in his spot, when the goalies thing is over.
Considering how many teams are in cap hell we should be in a good position as buyers. We don't need our trading partner to retain nor involve a 3rd party.
Ask on the available players might still be stupid but we should be in a good position for negotiations.

I think they have the beef in the press box covered with PHam.Just saw that. We need some beef in his spot, when the goalies thing is over.
