Done! ;)

But seriously, what's the big deal, if we better our chances of winning the cup this year by trading Kempe? A guy like Kempe, probably won't be a big factor on the kings for at least 2 or 3 years.

As long as we're not trading for another rental, I'm open to it.
What's the big deal? Guess you're not familiar with Kempe, lol.

IMO it's time to move on from Greene. The dude is a good locker room guy, but his play is really bad. Really, really bad. Time for DL to shake his hand, thank him and move him.
I think Greene will be a good coach one day.

It's 3 games. The Kings aren't the only team that's struggling, but there are obviously things going on.

Kopitar - The distraction from his contract is obvious. It's like there is a weight on him. He's himself about half the time.

Carter - Yuck. Nowhere near his level. I think the Richards saga has taken a toll somewhat. Your best friend, who you used to raise hell with, is now out of the league and has some heavy issues, at least partially due to that same hell you used to raise with him. Physically he looks fine, mentally he looks distracted.

Gaborik - Not going to scoring areas

Brown - Looks great, closer to his old self

Lucic - Improving. Was trying to make things happen last night, unlike our other top liners. Still a bit confused out there.

Toffoli - Tyler, its a puck, not a grenade. I've never seen him this shaky with the puck.

Erhoff - sometimes very good, but ridiculously risky at times. Making poor decisions. Needs to adjust.

Martinez - He's either getting pummeled or struggling with passing. Looks like he's nervous out there. Not comfortable at all.

Muzzin - Sigh. I thought we were past this? -6 in 3 games, two hits, brainfarts galore.

If guys like Kopitar and Carter are distracted, they need to get over it. For gods sake, pull it together boys. Stop freakin thinking and use your instincts.

Per. @reallisa , Matt Greene is being evaluated for possible injury, according to Kings hockey ops

Big mistake resigning him

I'll give it to him, Greene is a warrior, he puts it all on the line! But his play is hot and cold, most of the time I'm pulling my hair out, then he'll catch a good run like in 2012, and he looks like a beast. I was really hoping that Dean would resign Mitchell, and let Greene walk after 2014.

Greene is signed for 2 more years, after this season. He couldn't play last season, playing like a big steamer this season. I can't wait to see what next season and the season after have to offer.

Can they just make him a really expensive locker room guy or coach? Just roll his salary into a coaching position. At least it'd get him off the ice during a game. Cause if he's suited up and in the room, Sutter will play him.

I agree with this evaluation

It's way too early to panic but this start is very worrisome.
Not the way we needed to start the season and the worst start since 1985 I think I read earlier today.
It's a long season and the team does need to get serious about it sooner rather than later.

Yeeeep. So for those of you having flashbacks to a darker era, you're not wrong :P

"…was in 1985, although one of those was an OT loss, which just counted as a plain old loss back then. So if you don’t count that, you have to go all the way back to 1969, when they lost the first three in regulation.

The ’69 team finished worst in the league. The ’85 team second to worst (behind Detroit!).

No Kings team has ever lost the first four games.

Yes those were some dark years. I lived trough '85. I just didn't think I had to worry that I might see it again quite so soon.

5 new players who are in key positions are going to take time to adjust. The team looks ill prepared. We will be fine and it is true it is only 3 games in so I for one am not even remotely worried. I had season tickets back in 85 and while it wasn't our best year by a long shot we were starting to see some incredible kids playing and within 2 years we would see one of the best young teams to ever where a Kings uni. Locker room needs to adapt to the changes and this team needs to relax and get back to playing. Our chemistry went through a bitter divorce and now the rest of the family has to pick up the pieces and move forward.

If we do we will win our 3rd cup. If we don't then we will see a hasty rebuild.

It seems like the only way Forbort is ever going to get into a game is if one of the Kings D is in a car crash on the way to the rink on gameday.

 actually i got the impression from the insider that he'll likely play next game.

Is there a world where Muzzin and Pearson gets us Weber if theyre trying to move cap? no? doh.
