i asked this at the insider, but don't you guys think the kings have made a mistake with weal? they aren't using him and they aren't trading him. both ways decrease his value and so are bad business.
if they knew they had no spot they should've let him go to a team where he could get ice time and got a pick or whatever back in return. it's unfair to weal (who helped win them the calder cup) and it's not good for the kings organization, value-wise, either.
seems like lose-lose. i have no idea why they kept him. they were able to trade o-neill to jersey. surely they would've had offers for weal then?
