We need a second line center (Henrik or Bäckis) badly if we are going to compete with Canada this year, our wingers look great.

Good to see Sweden getting their stars to WC. Seems like they are going to be favourites with Canada this year.

Confused as to why some are excited for Franzen's addition. He's been playing terrible since the New Year.

Zetterberg, however, is a big addition. He's been playing real solid hockey.

Hjalmarsson, Oduya, Stålberg and Kruger is out of SC. I guess the first 3 will get the chance if they take it.

Version 24: (based on the new facts that Rangers now has a home game in game 7 and that Chicago is out plus that we haven't heard a whisper about "no thanks" from the Sedins and add to that Bäckströms blunder against the Bruins not to mention the new second round scenario making it 50-50 we could throw in OEL for the quarter finals)

Sedin - Sedin - Eriksson
Zetterberg - Bäckström - Franzén
Landeskog - Järnkrok - Silfverberg
Ericsson - Lundqvist - Pettersson
Stålberg - Hagelin - Persson - Krüger - Larsson

Karlsson - Hedman
Hjalmarsson - Edler
Ekholm - Kronwall
OEL - Ericsson
Karlsson M - Oduya - Larsson

Shocked that Zetterberg accepted the invitation. Thought for sure that he would decline. Sedins will more than likely decline due to Daniels concussion, and I don't think Hank would go without his brother. King Henrik would be great for goaltending, but I can't see the Rangers getting knocked out by the Sens, even though I'm hoping for the Sens.

The are not Siamese twins.

I fully expect Hank and Edler to go, if they have some sence of honour. Daniel will probably have a no from the Canucks, and I would be fine with that.

Lets see what happens with Washington. I probably wouldn't invite both MoJo and Kruger, and I'd take the former if given a chance. But in with Stalberg right away. On defense there are still many options

Landeskog-H.Sedin-Eriksson
Franzen-Zetterberg-Stalberg
Silfverberg/Hagelin-MoJo/Kruger-Jarnkrok
Persson-Lundqvist-Pettersson
Ericsson?
Bonus player: Backstrom

Hedman-X(E.Karlsson/Edler)
X(Stralman/Oduya)-Ericsson
S.Kronwall-X(Hjalmarsson/Murray)

Acc. to aftonbladet: Sedins will give an answer at the end of they week, if they will play for Tre Kronor or not. Apparently Tre Kronor has spoken with Daniel who speaks for his brother as well. Didnt really tell what the chances for them participating, they have simply not yet decided. It does sound however as it is either both Sedins or no Sedin.

Funny guys those Sedins...can't live without each other it seems. :shakehead:laugh:

How good are Jarnkrok's chances of making the team?

Right now he's on the team, but now with all the NHL'ers coming in he might be more on the bubble...

He will play in a few practice games befor the WC, if he impress there he should be on the team, I think.
