I think that Järnkrok will make the team. Hopefully Mårts Will pick him before Omark. I'm not sure why they're eager on getting Murray to the squad though, his season we're far from impressive to say the least...

Acc. to aftonbladet: Sedins will give an answer at the end of they week, if they will play for Tre Kronor or not. Apparently Tre Kronor has spoken with Daniel who speaks for his brother as well. Didnt really tell what the chances for them participating, they have simply not yet decided. It does sound however as it is either both Sedins or no Sedin.

Funny guys those Sedins...can't live without each other it seems. :shakehead:laugh:

Daniel Sedin after series: "Felt good and feels like my season just started".
Daniel Sedin two days later: "Bodies are worn down".

:D

And you want Nyquist instead? There is a reason why Nyquist are in AHL and Holmström still playing in NHL.

Someone fill me in, why would we wait for Jimmie Ericsson to get healthy let alone give him a free spot? He was one of those guys that needed to play in the pre-tournament competition and fight for it. Just because his brother is on the team shouldn't change anything.

It's not because of his brother, I really hope not. Maybe because he's big, works hard, produces and is faithful to his wife? One cool thing in this team is if a star player on the third line start the tournament with a big, fat icing, boards and out with the puck from the defense zone. Alfredsson or Landeskog etc.

Have you seen them play lately? I'm 100% sure Nyquist would be of more use for team Sweden than Holmström. Especially on the larger ice surface.

The ice is big, the bounce strange and the lines not where you are used to. The referees speak Transylvanian only and Stockholm is more concrete than beautiful women and warm weather. Welcome, canadians and americans!

MOAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAHAAAAAHAAAAA!

PS. If we could send in men against RNH we do.

I think we need at least three defensive d-men. If we add Hjalmarsson to Hedman and Ericsson, Murray might not be that important. But to have an 8th defender to throw in against the Niedermeyers, nowhere near the canadian legal system, would be great.

Yeah, and to top off their lousy luck, both USA and CAN play in Helsinki... which isn't any better. Worse, in fact. The refs speak rare Transnistrian dialect. The concrete is crummy and will crumble at any second. The weather is so cold that most complaints to the tourist board actually come from penguins and polar bears. And most of the beings that even closely resemble a woman are actually men.

Sedins decline. I hope Marts have the guts to decline them for Olympics 2014. Rather see someone play with pride then someone who only plays for money. (Sedins played only one WC in seven years, the lookout season)

Canada is a corrupt place. The GM's and coaches in Vancouver feel they are toast for having soft defensemen, no secondary scoring, not being in shape or making lousy trades or not having any toughness. Hodgson for... On their way down they do anything to save their own skin. - Henrik! You won't heal in one week. We forbid you to go! (to your own WC). WOW, DECISION POWER, YEAH! CLOWNS. I'd ask for a trade. Management's only hope is that a dispute with Swedish or International Icehockey Federation should clouden their own whereabouts.

Think Iran.

**** you Henrik Sedin. Piece of ****. You were healthy the entire year+playoffs and now all of a sudden you're too injured to play? Tell the ****ing truth, that you don't want to play.

I understand you Daniel, though.

I never want to see these two in the national team again. Definitely not in the 2014 olympics. Always terrible there anyways. Chokers.

I just don't get it, I can understand that Daniel not coming after the concussion but Henrik would be hungry for some success for a change, and have a chance to do it in front of a home crowd in his home country. This could be his chance to show the masses here what kind of superstar he really is.
