Which active players will be HHoFers someday?

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if they all made it.

At least a dozen or more are mortal locks and from the rest most are still young enough that they have (prime) years to make their case (Kaprizov & Matthews for example).

He’s a lock imo, every 2x or more winner is in but Keith, who will get in.

I voted for all of them. I’d be surprised if every single one didn’t get into the hall. The only ones that even give me pause are Fleury and Rantanen, but if guys like Carbonneau and Lowe can make it then they’re getting in too.

in 687 GP, which puts him 5th in PPG amongst active players, and is currently 13th all-time in assists/game

many have got in the Hall with lower GP (Bossy, Lindros, Bure, Forsberg, Lafontaine, Stastny etc)

He didn’t even arrive in the NHL till 24. During the time he’s been in the league, he’s 5th in assists (ahead of Crosby).

Unless something bad happens, he’ll easily blow past 1000 and finish closer to 1200 or so despite his very late start. He’s been named the top LW in the league twice and finished 2nd two other times. As low as the bar is, there’s no reason he shouldn’t get in.

Panarin hasn’t even been particularly bad in the playoffs, he just doesn’t have a signature run. He was in the PPG range in 16, 18, 19, 20, 24. His 2022 looks a little weaker than you’d want, but that had a lot to do with facing Jaccob Slavin for 7 games in between going PPG in two other series.

The blemishes on his resume are 2017, when Chicago as a team scored 3 total goals while getting dusted by Nashville, and the 2023 NYR/NJD series. The 2023 series is the real black eye, getting completely shut out after the first period of Game 1 of a seven game series. That’s just ugly. But it was one series. As a whole, his playoff career has been pretty ordinary but without that shining moment.

Are you sure you want to go down that road? You're the one who brought up playoff PPG. In reality and by your own argument Panarin is better than Modano, Barkov, and Kopitar in playoff PPG. In all my years here I've never seen someone get so completely trashed (by @amnesiac and @tarheelhockey) and then keep digging the hole deeper. Just stop now while you're behind and enjoy your 30th bday, kid.
