The penguins suck.

I think we eke this one out 3-2 OT.

Celly, Granny, Wenny
Crosby, Rakell

Why would they scratch Thompson?
Don't get me wrong I love to see Walman back, but for love of god scratch Rutta.
Walman - Ceci
Ferraro - Liljegren
Thrun - Thompson

There you have a decent defensive group.

Why would Goodrow be the one they put with Mack and smith....
That line definitely does need a forechecker with a defensive conscience, Goodrow is probably the best player on the team to add those two elements

The problem is they could also use a legitimate goal threat, which Goodrow doesn't provide, but no matter who they choose its going to be a little awkward for a 3rd linemate with those two, still exciting to see them try something so radical

I think this is the right analysis. Process of elimination for Goodrow. We just don't have better options. But, it's worth a shot.

Would have liked to have seen Zetterlund there but Warso is probably set on keeping the LUND line together, which makes sense.

Kostin would have been interesting too. Guy should be motivated. Who need defense if you play your whole shift in the O zone?? 😂

Wennberg would’ve been my choice. He has some offensive ability.

Zetterlund would have been a good choice and Toffoli could take his place on the Lund line

Kostin isn't a good choice, evergreen statement

I think this is a game the Sharks should win. I watched Pittsburgh twice this week (Dallas and Columbus) and they suck. I wonder if Crosby really wants to be a part of another rebuild.

SNOG

Sharks 4 (Celebrini, W. Smith, Eklund, Zetterlund
Pens 2 (Crosby, Malkin)

Pitsburgh on the tail end of a back to back, and honestly they are just a really bad team. Macklin and Smith on the same line and PP, the vibes are high and we have an offensive explosion tonight!

6-2 Sharks Celebrini x2, W. Smith, Eklund, Toffoli, Walman

Boggles my mind that Thompson is the one coming out and not Rutta
I'll give him this one because Rutta might have some extra motivation coming back to play against the team that traded him, but come Tuesday night I'd certainly like to see Thompson back in. (Err, wait a second...Monday night! Weird week incoming with a Monday night one-game "homestand.")

Would you guys call it a development day for Thompson? Lile Willy who watched Jack Hughes from the press box, who will Thompson pick to watch? Karlsson, Letang, Petersson?
