The shittiest part of this TDL is that if the Isles fired Lambert and got Roy a month before they did, they probably have Parise

Can someone explain what the Flyers are doin?

In light of getting Erik Johnson and Denis Gurianov what was the point of trading Sean Walker? Did they no longer consider him a core piece or was re-signing him going to be difficult?

They're very confusing.

Fine with standing pat. Roster still needs work in the offseason. Cap is in bad shape unless Lou can work magic. Retool the system too.

My biggest question is whether they are 100% committed to Brock on LW with Horvat/Barzal. If so, then they're kind of thin at C and not sure I'm sold on JGP as the 2C. Is the backup plan to slide Brock back to 2C and put someone else on the top line wing? But who? Trading for someone who could fill at least one of those slots would be nice, even if it's a lesser guy who can also play in the bottom 6 in the meantime. So, while a Pinto, for example, would be great it's probably unrealistic. And a top line LW would also be great but maybe also unrealistic at this point. If neither of those things, do they stand pat or maybe pick up a bargain bin guy who might be able to fill in top 6 if needed?

Not sure how that’s directly linked to the TDL
Well, it’s moreso about additions and whatnot than the TDL directly… but we would also be in a much stronger position to buy considering we probably wouldn’t have blown 1500 third-period leads

The Dumba deal to Tampa Bay is the type of deal I love and the type of low risk really no risk deal we should’ve made. Right handed shot defenseman Mayfield out and the only price for Dumba was a swap in the later round. Can’t say no to that well done by Tampa Bay.

Did anyone check if Barabanov left San Jose with the Islanders? Would have been a very Lou move.

Unless Barabanov left in the cargo hold of the plane, in which case it would be a very Bill Stewart move.
