Look I know you want to trade him no matter what and that is your right but things are different now. Team is playing really good and there is still a chance for the playoffs if things go right. Gorton is asking for a monster package for Kreider and I’m not convinced anybody will do that no matter how good Kreider has been. The last two deadlines I was all for trading assets but those guys had no shot of being part of the future but CK is a little different especially the chemistry of that line with Mika and Buch

If Kreider is re-signed, I think it stands to reason that the Rangers will put the pedal down on the push for the playoffs. Could definitely see a prize prospect or two going for established, high end players in their prime. Without Hank going though it's going to be a tough cap situation to navigate.

Whats scary is this team is starting to push.

This is the worst defensive game the team has played in awhile but their offense showed up in the 3rd and Igor made some huge saves.

Also its amazing what having competent players in the bottom 6 does for a team. Amazing.
