I might be old school but I'd like our 3rd line to be able to matchup and be reliable.

IMO a major issue for some time now, is that our 3rd line can't be relied upon... ultimately giving 4th liners more ice time.

I'd be happy with a Carolina/Minnesota/TB of years past, type 3rd line. Not Chytil and Kessel.

Lehkonen-Goodrow-Rakell.

Test drive and resign if it works.

On paper that looks like the best 3rd line in the league.

You don't need Pana\Strome to play D with that 3rd line getting more minutes than our current, untrustworthy group. Lehkonen and Goodrow can more than make up for any coasting Rakell has been accused of. These guys can wear down other teams and score occasionally too. Hunt-Rooney-Revo on the 4th. Laf and KK stay at 1&2 RW.

This in now a team that can win more than one round confidently.

have you ever fallen?

but who knows... if you can't hold a stick whats the point of skating?
I mean , we are talking about an NHL player, how often are they falling by themselves skating around? He has a better chance of falling on ice on the sidewalk than on an ice rink haha. And players get on the ice all the time that are recovering from upper body injuries. He could at least keep his stamina up a bit by getting on the ice. He doesnt need to be shooting around with the puck.

I get it but why risk it? He can ride a bike

All depends on what the doctor says he can do. I am sure he would be skating if it was up to him.

To stay in game shape Lmao

Something else must be going on
come on... the only way to be in game shape.. is to play in games.

Practice can only imitate it so much.... He's not in game shape now and ice skating alone will not get him into game shape.

He can workout his lungs and heart without ice skating and risking further injury

In his defense, the Sharks writer was pretty fair though. Basically said maaaayyyybe the NYR would give up Nils and a 1st. It's the fans that are way off...sounds familiar haha.

The Hawks one takes the title for worst of the day across the board.
The Hawks one was just too much. Lafreniere and a first round pick for Kane would be rejected by the Hawks! Lmao. I know Laf isn’t lighting the world on fire but that trade is a fire
able offense by Drury if he offers it and a fire able offense by Davidson if he turns to down. Just atrocious by those writers.

Don’t know much about Helleson but I assume he’s a Matt Robertson level prospect? If so that’s about the return I’d expect, especially eating 50%

I don’t understand why Kakko cant get on the ice with a wrist injury that I would hope is almost healed up by now, but that is alarming.
Yeah I hear you but I guess possibility of him falling on the ice while skating. Probably first thing he would use is his hand/wrist to brace his fall
