I think theres a difference between a bad skater and a bad goaltender. Like sure a player might be not good when they are on the ice but he can still endure himself to the fans through things like hits fights etc. But if you're a bad goaltender who consistently shits the bed theres nothing you can really do to shake that.

I find it hard to believe that stuff between Georgiev and Igor isn't just messing around. Igor is a bit of a jokester and probably encourages it, especially with a fellow Russian. If I'm wrong about that, I don't understand how Georgiev is still on the team.

Georgiev then is the greatest actor I've ever seen to not even crack a smile if he's messing around.

That’s a pretty odd joke and if it were we’d probably catch them laughing afterward or something. In warmups, after games, etc you’d always see the Russians talking with each other in a group, even Kravtsov in his brief stint. But Georgiev is never part of it.
I also just checked on Instagram and it appears Shesterkin & Georgiev do not even follow each other.

I think it's as simple as every time Igor wins and performs well (which is usually) he views it as less likely that he'll play. So he's more interested in playing than the team doing well. Anyway, I'm being captain obvious right now but some people think it's some weird inside joke.

When the break ends, Gallant has no excuse not to rework the roster with some of the young players. Put Laf/Kakko in the top 6 and keep them there. Get Barron/Jones in the lineup full time. Its enough already with McKegg/Hajek.

As long as Laf/Kakko show they can hack it in the top 6, Drury should add a few guys like Lehkonen & Jarnkrok for the bottom 6. If you need to aim higher for offense, so be it. Dont give up major assets for a Dman when Schneider has been a revelation and Jones is right in front of you.

So the All Star break ends on Monday the 7th with 2 NHL games resuming....but the Ranger's first game back isn't till the 15th? Why is our break so long? Are all the games from the 7th-14th make up games or something?

this was supposed to be the olympic break so no games for anyone for like 3 weeks....all the games being played are makeup games.

Persisting with tying TDA's ejection to Geo isn't very sensible imo. Obviously it was more complex than that.
