Pavelski man. Pavelski. Can play with Panarin and Strome and take a lot of the important strong side faceoffs. 53% on draws, brings great postseason numbers and leadership.
Interesting thought, I wonder if he would be worth it. He's at least better than McKegg.
I think the dude was talking about Edmonton with a move but never mentioned a name in return. What did he want to get from that?
Go for Holloway . We send Georgie back and take Smith . Make the deal bigger if we need to do so by adding Gauthier or Hajek . Oilers have no cap....so maybe we eat some to aid . Gets us a potential young C ...worth investigating . The GM is so close to being desperate and the goaltending in Oilerville SUCKS and Smith is not a # 1 anymore . He could be a dandy #2 for us though .Maybe Edmonton is dumb enough to overpay for Georgiev... what would they offer after last nights showcase?
Georgiev has been real good the past month or so
Yes he is that badDoes Rask stink that bad ?
On waivers but makes 4 mil
He is more talented than McKegg, but he can’t do what McKegg does either. McKegg is a better fit for this team than RaskI think he'd end up getting claimed by someone. Arizona would 100% take him just to stay cap compliant when they decide to move Kessel.
If he clears, 50% retained for a conditional pick would be all that I would offer. He is definitely better than McKegg.
Dallas isn’t moving Pavelski unless they crater. Dallas are probably closer to buyers than sellers.Pavelski man. Pavelski. Can play with Panarin and Strome and take a lot of the important strong side faceoffs. 53% on draws, brings great postseason numbers and leadership.

How far off am I on value for Gourde and Gio both at 50% retention?
Chytil
Kravy
Nils
And an protected1st
What are your thoughts on Ryan McLeod....he looked good last night for them...and FAST as well . What does his upside project as ?Georgiev for Holloway would be excellent.
And I don't even love Holloway as a top 6 center.

LookHorrific.
Hard pass.
Look, I know how you feel about moving futures for rentals you make that clear in almost every post. I was just look fo an objection perspective on value.Horrific.

And we don't need to save on Gio's contract, it ends this season. We have the space for the full thing.
The issue is he's 38 and we are dumb to pay prime assets for pure rentals.
I'm also leaning for bringing Kravs back later this season if possible and to start next season....a hot playoff and or a strong start next season will double our value from him if we trade him . Some trades not made actually can become the best ones....and I know I hated on him but I just want the best Ranger team possible and if he stays a Ranger fine...but if we increase his value....it helps the club . Drury might need to eat some pride here for the greater good of the club .If you are hell bent on getting Gourde in here even like Chytil and a second is enough in my book. Seattle gets to take a shot on a young center with top 6 upside and gets a pick.
Let someone else pay more than that.
Kravtsov should not be traded for anything less than another young player with top 6 upside. Nils should not be moved for anything less than a young center with top 6 upside. Or both in a package for a star.
We don't need another defenseman.

way too much? Please try to be objective .
It’s not just the Defensive aspect of the trade. Leadership is a big part of the Gio acquisition. If you are hell bent on getting Gourde in here even like Chytil and a second is enough in my book. Seattle gets to take a shot on a young center with top 6 upside and gets a pick.

Sorry @EdJovanovski , like I said, I do love Kravy, I just think the relationship is broken beyond repair, and these two players put the Rangers over the top.

Reilly Smith. That is the man we need. Move Chytil to the wing or the bench depending on how he plays and go:
Zib
Strome
Smith
Barron/Rooney
We could make playoff noise if we picked up Smith and didn't lose anyone off the roster.
Ok…what if we backed Nils out?All that for a 38-year old rental and an upgrade of Chytil? Nah.
I would give up this package for a Roope Hintz-type player.
