Bob also said its "Highly likely" all of McQuaid, Hayes and Zucc are moved.

His values below...

McQuaid is a Holden-like return. 4th and a 7th
Hayes a 1st and "something"...didn't speculate.
Zucc a 1st or top prospect (not both)

Said Hayes has a lot of interest around the league and added big bodied Center etc. Pretty much the same values most of us here discuss everyday.

As @jas mentioned above. He was asked about Kreider and said if he was to be traded it would be for a "building block foundation" type of a player and not draft picks and prospects.

The interesting thing Bob also said is that Kreider fits in with what the rebuilding Rangers are doing, to paraphrase.

Price for Duchane would likely be higher than a move for Hayes, the Islanders might be looking at that route. Not sure what the ask would be. They wouldn't get Wahlstrom or Dobson. Possibly something around Bellows and Wilde?

Or just for depth like McQuaid.

But ive been force fed by certain people here that Kreider should and will be traded......

Imagine that, a big physical speedy forward who is in great physical shape and is hitting his prime, fits in with the future plans of this team.

Crazy

Definitely would be interested in a 1st and Bellows.

JG better bend over the Islanders if we are dealing with them.

I also believe that if we do trade with them it will because they offered the best return.

Hayes makes a lot of sense if they think they can re-sign him. He doesn't even have to move out of his apartment. I wouldn't lose any sleep seeing Hayes in an Islanders uniform if they paid an acceptable price.

I'm a believer that no rivalry in hockey should prevent you from making your team better. That being said, I doubt either team is interested in helping out the other.

After seeing the Boyle return today, I want 1sts for Hayes and Zucc. Dont care if they are late 1sts. Love what Mackenzie was saying tonight. 1st and a good prospect for Hayes. 1st and a decent prospect for Zucc. Music to the ears. Stock up.

Re-sign Hayes. Sign Panarin and Boyle. Sign Stralman. Sign one more UFA D. Maybe bring back McQuaid for the 7th. Trade Pionk and Smith. Trade one of Vesey/Nams for picks or keep both for a rotation. I like Namestnikov’s game a lot. I like Strome to stay. Maybe Kravtsov starts in the AHL. Who knows what our 1st round looks like at the draft.

Buchnevich-Zib-Kreider
Panarin-Hayes-Chytil
Strome-Andersson-Kravtsov
Namestnikov/Vesey-Boyle-Howden

Skjei-Stralman
Staal-ADA
Lindgren-Shattenkirk
McQuaid

I see a lot of people saying "trade XX and re-sign them in the summer".

I have to ask, how often does that actually happen? How many times has it happened in the league in the past 10 years?

Stralman has been pretty meh this year. I think his top pairing days are behind him. He's 32. What sort of contract do you give him?
