Vegas has 2 2nds and 2 3rds this year.
Would anyone consider Tuch + LV 1st + LV 2nd?

It would depend entirely on what I felt I could get for those picks. Really again comes down to splitting a high-value asset like DeAngelo into lesser parts. That's not something I'm really that thrilled about doing.

To Edge's point, Glass is the one really intriguing piece that Vegas has, and I don't think they can afford to trade him if he's even available.

I like Tuch's potential, and it's not hard to imagine him complimenting Panarin and Strome very well, but it just seems like we should be able to do better for DeAngelo if we have to move him.

We will but please extrapolate.
I don’t have any specific names I can share. Like everyone else has reported, Vegas is looking for help on the back end. They also have a cap jam coming next year with $66MM committed to 13 players. They can’t take on much salary without something going out.

Imagine Ottawa walking away with Raymond and Holtz

I wonder if Peyton Krebs would intrigue the Rangers? @Edge , weren’t the Rangers high on him prior to the draft?

Supposedly very high.

Until you mentioned him, I’d actually completely forgot that Vegas drafted him.

Vegas and the Rangers have shared an interest in several prospects and draft eligible players over the last two and a half years.

I’m starting to get my head around what you’re saying.

I was very high on Krebs but haven't really looked at him since draft day. Does anyone know if he recovered fully from the Achilles injury?

CK age 23-29 @ under $5M is pretty good, though. Just on the right side, not the left. We're banking a lot on Kakko busting out as a top line player, so a guy that can play second fiddle now and for 6 more years while getting paid like a second fiddle is the perfect support for Kakko making his way. It's the same role we can debate whether or not Buch can fill. He could, yet I feel Tuch would be a better fit, while possibly a better bargain after Buch signs his next contract. There's certainly intrigue.
Buch to the third line? Kravtsov to the fourth? Acquiring Tuch sounds like it would make Buch expendable. Only one *uch player is allowed per team maybe?

Yeah, he’s back about a month and a half at this point. For a kid coming back from a serious injury, he’s done well. Still not quite sure where I peg the offense and role at the NHL level, but I think he could be an interesting pro.

Cozens, but Edge was saying how the Rangers were super high on Krebs.

Haha, the Cozens rumor was false, though amusing.

Krebs was the kid more than a few people from the team were raving about, and the Rangers interviewed and followed him very closely.

I think he might’ve been on the short list if they remained in their original draft slot, and I know, post-injury, he definitely would’ve been on the radar for a potential move up for the Jets pick if they held onto it.

Ryan Strome....more points than Nylander,Taveres, M.Tkachuk, Kopiatar and Bergeron, not that he is better than those guys but what a trade

I think the point the guy is trying to make is you don’t trade georgiev if Hanks planning on retiring so as a head office you need to have your finger on the pulse of that decision. I’m sure hank as well would let them know before they made a move like that.

Of course they will have an idea of where Hank is at and as you said, I can’t see Hank being one to blind side them either.

Vegas lacks that puck mover certainly, but I wonder if they'd be interested in a Skjei and Schmidt reunion. Still can't figure out how the Rangers would move Skjei mid-season though.
Vegas has a bunch of LHD not sure they would want another one, but maybe.

I second.

Vegas to me seems like the real dark-horse candidate for a Georgiev trade. He's cheap, a big upgrade on Malcolm Subban, and could be their heir apparent once Fleury's deal is done. They have a bunch of picks and have some interesting prospects that I'm sure the Rangers have kept tabs on in Morozov, Korkzac, Dorofreyev, and Ryder Donovan. Jake Lechychshyn could be another one, but he's struggled mightily in the AHL thus far.
