Our bottom6 is bad. Real bad
Chytil is not a good center, he's a liability, yet he's paired with Kakko and Howden. Kakko is currently lost. Howden is Howden. Smith, McKegg and AHL player/flavor of the month on the 4th.
He's gets lost in coverage.what?!
He also wrote this gem:He has none because hes been blogging for less than a month lol.
He's gets lost in coverage.
Am I crazy or does everyone put on their homer glasses for Chytil? He does a lot of things well but that doesn't negate all the things he still struggles with. Yes, he's young and developing.
Even if he gets lost in coverage from time to time, he's not bad defensively this year. His stats are above the baselineHe's gets lost in coverage.

Eh, seems to me he's just regurgitating what others have said, and hedging bets when they do get traded
Exactly. Only people who want to hear rumors would believe this garbage, because their brains are predisposed to it. I get that its quiet right now, but almost all rumors are garbage and not to be taken seriously. Its like getting your news from checkout line tabloids, and no I'm not referring to the NY Post.Eh, seems to me he's just regurgitating what others have said, and hedging bets when they do get traded
Maybe bad was a wrong choice of words or phrased poorly. He's not a good fit for 3rd line centerEven if he gets lost in coverage from time to time, he's not bad defensively this year. His stats are above the baseline
Different situations. Talbot was 1 year away from UFA. After this season Georgiev is either 3 or 4 years from UFA.
That looks a lot like my sister. But she can’t bake for **** so it’s notSince a lot of you said I should lock her up long term with an NTC after the Rangers cake she made me, I figured I’d update on her development. Making a strong case to be the cornerstone of my franchise sometime in 2020.

His stats? We talking about analytics? I'd be curious to see what they've been. His best period came when Zibs was out and he was in between Kreider and Buch.
edit- center plays a major role in this 'system'. If his coverage is off, it sets off a chain-reaction of bad.
Think he’s two years from really taking off. He's gets lost in coverage.

Did you expect to have rock solid depth less than 2 years into a rebuild?
Typically, our best defensive center. One to take big defensive draws and can be relied upon in defensive scenarios/PK. Good hockey-sense/IQ. Good on faceoffs. Excels in coverage. Excels on the boards. Relentless on the forecheck and backheck. Rarely ever out of position. Contribute somewhat offensively. At least a decent skater. A good 3rd line center is really, a solid middle 6 player. Chytil checks some of the boxes but is not meant to be a checking center at this current point in time.Is there any system where the center doesn't play a "major role?"
Anyway, what is your definition of a good 3rd line center? Is it the dinosaur checking centers of the 1990's? Because if that's the case, then yes, I agree he wouldn't be a good fit. But here in 2020, and given the Rangers current situation at C, I think it's perfectly fine to get ice time for such an offensively gifted young kid.
We don't need a competent 4th line. We need to not play a 4th line.
I think ideally, you eventually have enough depth that your 4th line is:
Lemieux - Howden - Fast (or comparable player).
