before we trade our 2020 draft pick lets see where we end up. Imagine trading the #1 pick and then winning the lotto, that would be terrible, so lets hold on to that pick for now.
I know Miller, Jones, Lundqvist, and Hendrikson are playing world juniors am I missing people?
I feel like he's been on the Swiss WJC roster since the Leafs last won a CupNico Gross

I personally quit believing in gordie a few years ago.
We will see for sure. Kravtsov was certainly not ready. It’s mainly the 1st round that bugs me the most.K'andre Miller, Shesterkin, Lundqvist, Chytil are all good picks where they were taken imo. I think Barron and Hendrickson could be steals too. It's easy to point out bad picks but he really had no idea Andersson would take his stick and go home and honestly if someone told me he would I wouldn't have believed them til today. Not saying I'm a fan of him but he has done some good work here too. I still have faith in Kravtsov but he may need to be treated with kid gloves. As I said before my only criticism is the lack of CHL players.

Andersson probably feels he has no future here. I get it. We obviously would have loved to see him go down to Hartford, kill it, come back up and force Quinn to play him.
He probably heard about the potential trade to Edmonton too. At this point he feels playing elsewhere is what’s best for his career.
He very well might be right.
Lias didn’t pack his **** and go home the 1st opportunity he had like Kravtsov. He played 25 games in Hartford his rookie season and 7 games with us.
Last season he played 36 in Hartford and 42 games here. He’s played 17 games up here and 13 in Hartford.
I don’t agree with his request, but I do understand it.
It’s not just his skating. He’s not playing the game he played in Sweden. He’s not pursuing the puck like a bull. He’s not winning 1 on 1 battles. He’s playing with zero offensive confidence. His skating is holding him back, nothing else. Until he gets quicker and faster he wont get any better opportunities.
To be fair he also said it isn’t likely because the team wants a more north/south playerELOE FDMN said Andersson Poolparty very unlikely. Plain and simple, Holland and other GMs probably aren't very high on Lias and the value he has given his poor skating and bottom 6 skill set.
We’ve overachieved so far imo. The tumble will continue.we’re way too high up right now. Need a nice tumble down the standings to get this going.
Don’t worry, it’s coming.we’re way too high up right now. Need a nice tumble down the standings to get this going.

We probably should have let him broil a little longer before bringing him to NA.
That’s all hindsight now. Lias needs to learn how the apply himself better, and our management needs to also look in the mirror and ask themselves if they did what’s best for his development. They both ****ed up and it’s not a good look for either side.
