Primeau obviously wouldn't be the only piece going to NJ, but definitely a player they would be interested in, I would think.
Yes, but if he's the centerpiece or anywhere close to being considered the main return, then lol.

Anthony Duke has 18 goals this year... that's one trade I would take back

Yeah, but in all serious, a role=a certain base scoring.

Like 100 out of 100 times, if you have a crappy team with big holes in the goto position, someone will always ‘step up’ and get productions.

This is the reason for why all the calculation models for teams and players sucks. Scoring in hockey is like to 80-90% about environment. Good players get good roles for them, and hence mostly also produce good stats. And then of course the stats are impacted a little bit by individual ability. Take someone like AO.

This only has an effect on a players raw stats not his rates.

I know this has been asked/answered a dozen times already this year (sorry!), but what are the go-to sites for hockey advanced stats now that several of the original site founders have been scooped up by teams?

Who cares about Hall. People should be more concerned that Buchnevich has gone back to crap again. He looks as if he will be a lesser version of Kreider. Inconsistent, invisible at times with a lot less production than Kreider in areas of the game. That's a guy I would be all for moving. It's been 11 games for Andersson now for the Pack. It's time to get concerned. He has 5 points with just 16 shots in 11 games. I'm praying that he starts to put some points up down there.
Are Kreider and buchnevich roommates? Asking for friend.

Buch is what he is. A middle six scorer who at times will be brilliant and others be inconsistent. There's a reason he was a third round pick and the Rangers did very well with that one.

Middle six scores get traded very frequently. There were rumors the Oilers wanted him at the draft. I expect him to be part of a package this summer.

Is a pending RFA with arbitration rights currently making 1 mil. Played three seasons with Lemieux on Barrie.
Also Brooklyn-born, SI raised, and currently playing well but not well enough to break the bank on us next summer. If we could get him signed for around 4-4.5 for 4 years he can be a valuable player in our top-9. Definitely a shooting threat as well, though his numbers don't make it seem that way. This kid has got a good shot. I've been a fan of Labanc, I think he has put it together and could benefit under Quinn's coaching. For once I will have to agree with a Larry proposal despite the fact that I think it has no legs.

Absolutely. He's not part of the solution here. I don't see him as the playoff type. Maybe if you put him with two stars but to me, he's run his course here. No loss as far as I'm concerned. Unless they get blown away, I think they sign DeAngelo to a 4 y, 18 million deal. Let him play one more year here, let Lundkvist play one year for the Pack and then deal DeAngelo. Me, I'd use him to go after Cozens. Bring Keane up and see what you have. I doubt they do that.

Do you try and do a deal like Buchnevich and Howden for Puljujarvi and Benson? I would.
