You might be right on Schneider/Berard. They adore Benson and they'd adore Berard for the same reason. Their team seems so dead inside.
I just know Buffalo inexplicably values their guys really highly. Maybe not on Cuylle. I'm sure they'd ask.

I think Drury has a pretty clear vision for the team and Cuylle is a player built in a lab for that team.

Also, the closest connection to Peterka that I can see is Peca's connection with him.
If the Peterka trade comes to fruition, then it is relatively safe to assume Peca had some good input there

That's usually how I know the Rangers won't do anything. Other teams pull the trigger. The Rangers always "get close but fell through".

Cuylle is as untouchable.. no need to downgrade to Peterka. Cuylle brings some nasty WITH SKILL. I bet it’s Schneider and 2ed or something like that. Cuylle is a player you dont sell high on. Cuylle is a player you build around. I’d trade Lafy over Cuylle.

While this is speculative and based on nothing there's something to be said over a mutiny happening here but not in Tampa with Stamkos. Once again, speculative but I wonder if the team has had it so easy for so long that the second Goodrow was let go and Trouba got traded they pouted like spoiled children. I think the mutiny is a RESULT of a country club atmosphere. If they weren't spoiled to begin with they wouldn't have such an over the top reaction to business.

Kevyn Adams wanted Lafreniere during the Jack Eichel talks. Maybe that's the guy. Drury gave Lafreniere the big contract extension earlier this season. Lafreniere has been inconsistent. Most of the Rangers have been inconsistent.
