Ill continue stumping for Buffalo trades. Byram, Tuch, Greenway, etc. Could see them having interest in Kakko and Lindgren types. Guys who may not have the role or future they want in NY and would be open to extending in Buffalo where their skillsets fit better.

They're not trading Tuch or Greenway, they want more of them.

Byram is available because 1) jellyhead and 2) if they extend him they've going to be close to capped out with a bunch of high picks who got paid and still suck. Cozens looks a lot like Ryan Strome to me. Too many skill kids, not enough diggers.

Someone is going to be on the roster in Trouba's place. They won't run with only 6 dmen. It might as well be Vaakanainen. The difference in cap hit between him and Ruhwedel is negligible. We can always swap them later if we need that little bit of cap space for some reason.

And the money being talked about really buys first place in the pecking order when it comes to who has to accomodate who. The profession of doctor doesn't take a back seat to many jobs but professional athlete might be one of them.

I don't think Kevin with a Y is particularly smart. I think Drury can have his scalp like he just took Verbeek's. probably agree on Tuch though. They can't take a bath on the main guy they got for Neck Eichel. Rangers have always been interested in Greenway.

Might be Mancini for better or worse. We know how this staff likes to keep people on their strong sides. We'll see if he gets some more burn this time around or if his call up was simply done so they have enough D for tonight's game.

I think (hope) they're looking at Vakk as a cheap Lindgren replacement. They'll actually slot him lower in the rotation and he's a better player outright. Would be a solid win.

Might just be a thing for this year but a NHL capable body is a NHL capable body.

Vaakanainen has no standout qualities but he's capable of being mostly unnoticeable (a positive for that type of Dman). He's surely a solid #7 D and maybe somewhat more, just fell behind so many other LHD on the Ducks
