This right here... I applaud Drury for getting a little bit back and Tuba's money off the books but I think people were selling themselves short here. Drury made a quick move to get him off the roster and off the books. There were other suitors. Teams were interested when they had the cap space. There are organizations that need RHD that'll have tons of space in the summer. How was Detroit going to clear 6 million dollars? I get why people love the deal, he did fine... but based on what we've heard it sounds like he could've recouped a bit more if he pushed it off until the deadline or the summer. A bigger bidding pool like what was reported prior, bigger return. I think he sucks, mostly everyone here thinks he sucks... but the GMs dont. But it is what it is. The team is better off and the cap space is needed.
