The condition on the pick is that we get the worse of Anaheim's two 4th round picks. They currently have their own and Detroit's, so more than likely, we will get Detroit's 4th rounder.

Wanting a player gone and thinking he sucks are entirely different. I didn't want JT gone but I did understand Zucc being moved. At the time we were in full tear down mode and it made sense to do it right and just scrap every useful piece that wasn't very youthful. Zucc was still valuable and the majority of the fan base felt pain when he was moved, even if they understood the reasons behind doing so.

Jacob Trouba is a literal plodding scrub. He sucks at hockey. He can't skate or play defense. He is literally replacement level at this point, meaning, if you bring almost anyone up from the Wolfpack, they'll perform at the same level or better with a minimum salary. Yes, he throws a chicken wing once in a while and it's exciting, but he also misses on those chicken wings more often than not and it results in goals quite frequently.

Add to that he has been wildly unprofessional since all the shit that went down this summer and I don't want him within a ten mile radius of this team or it's young, developing players.

Never said that Trouba is playing well. I said he could be a problem if he was in our division as a dangerous player especially for a guy like Chytil. I'm glad he is not in our conference. I would not want to think of Chytil going against him. Some of the most dangerous players are not good players. I did not want any of our guys getting hurt. Its not that complicated a prospect.

I understood why we moved Zooks and JT Miller. That still does not make those good trades. We got pennies on the dollar in returns.

Lindgren, Smith and Vesey next. Get Frederic to replace Vesey. Let Berard play RW with Kreider and Z as a Garland-lite.

I'm on the fence with NMCs and NTCs, but this is sports. It should be fun and exciting and unexpected. Not just sad and disappointing. Haha

I think everything he's done has made sense even if it was the wrong move in hindsight.

Peep Nils Lunkqvists stat line some time and ponder on him getting a 1st round pick for what looks a lot like Urho Vaakanainen.
nah, Urho has been effective at the NHL level unlike Nils lmao

Is Urho Vaakanaian good???

Who cares really.

I wouldve taken a chewed mouthpiece for Trouba and his full 8m cleared.

Change of scenery for the kid.

An intelligent, two-way defender…reads the play really well, has his head up all the time and makes quick decisions with the puck

He has good puck moving ability and strong offensive upside. He is also a good skater and can rush the puck up ice with confidence
—Hockeyprospect.com 2017

Drafted 18 overall in 2017.

Played 68 games with the Ducks last season (141 total). He can play, but to what level here remains to be seen. LHD means an extra body for Lindgren/Jones/Miller if they are moved.
