With who Carolina put on Waivers today as well - What about Nash at 50% retained, JT Miller and spare parts for Noah Hanifin.

I don't know.... it seems like the best course of action is to ignore media speculation and pretend nothing is happening and then make some changes during the deadline/off season. Once you hold a press conference, it becomes a bigger story.

The story is already out. Brooks reporting a sell off in New York for the first time in a century. That’s it being out

Too bad for the Wolfpack too. 7 wins in the last 8, 8 game point streak, everything was looking up.
 
With how this season has gone it sure feels hard to have a lot of confidence in the Rangers moving forward and remaking the team, but I feel like this season was always a bit of "toss it up in the air and see if it pans out while we work on overhauling things"

e: if there's more to the Smith thing than just his performance I guess they could be calling a press conference for that but pure speculation on my part

Would they let him run practice and announce his firing via an announced Press Conference later in the day? I don't know, that doesn't seem like standard procedure.

I'm betting Gorton just comes out and tries to calm everyone down and just say some stuff along the lines of we're trying to do what's best for the organization going forward.
 
If they are moving Ryan Mc. - someone need to explain the new situation and direction of the org. AV might be here until end of this season. Not saying moving Ryan is wrong and he has like 1.5 years of the contract, but I`m not sure if they are going to move AV in this interview.

I actually thought about this the other day.

McD at 50% and Vesey for Callahan, Point, Sergachev and Foot plus a 1st in 20' if Tampa wins a cup in 18' or 19' or resigns McD, if not a 3rd. ;) Let Stevie Y taste his own medicine.

Is Glachenyuk good in some EA Sport game? Why are we gutting the team to get a 4th lineer from one of the worst teams in the league?

I agree, I think we are all getting too excited. If someone were to be traded or fired we would know by now by seeing tweets from practice. A player would go off the ice early and/or AV wouldn't be at practice.
