No GM is going to answer that question. At this point, I got the impression that AV isn't in much danger and they are mostly blaming the players.

Have to believe they KNOW they’re going to move some serious pieces at this point or else this seems like a very strange thing to publish. If all that happens is Smith is waived and UFAs Nash, Grabner and Holden are moved it won’t make sense to have taken the time to print this.

I like Gorton for the most part. He's retooling and it's been a decent job so far but having Sather still involved is just not good.

For sure. I wonder if they already have something lined up, or if they are simply preempting so as not to potentially horrify casual fans waking up to news of a big trade.

As to the playoffs, this team is in such dissarray that one wonders if you'd rather take the outside shot at a top 3 pick over an outside shot at a miracle cup run.

We'll have to wait and see. I feel that they definitely see the issues with AV. The way they said "has been great" instead of is. Probably reading into it too much.
