Oh, i guess he should put out an apology for his clickbait article last week about about Chytil and retirement. This is why i dont take this guy serious.

Him and Brooks became pretty big clowns last week.
I don't think Vince ever suggested it was career threatening. Not sure about Brooks.

The crap he said in a podcast to stir up shit and to make it seem worse than it was is clown shit. Click the tweet for everything vince spewed.

I mean Its just clear that the beat doesn’t have access. So they’re assuming the worst because lavi and the pr staff aren’t updating them on injuries, and it lends credit that Ramsey was leaking.

I mean theres usually a reason someone isnt in the NHL.
I doesn't have to be because "they suck." I'm talking about an Othmann or a Berard, but at C.

Sometimes, it sort of is. Henriksson just isn't good enough to be an injury call up. We're missing someone in that age range at C unless Korczak or something takes a big step forward.

Sure and most teams if they have an othmann or berard at C, that player is in the NHL.

Yea it’s a cheap and messed up way to get clicks to his article during a slow Ranger’s week. Poor Chytil was probably getting 500 texts that week asking if he was retiring because of a brain injury.

If he doesnt have info then they he shouldn’t be speculating on worst case scenarios. Even HFboards wouldnt allow baseless speculation like that.

I dont disagree with you. The reality of their profession is a bit different than that now.

From 2020: Lapierre and Zary splitting time between leagues, while Brisson and Bourque are in the minors.

Lucius and Bourgault from 2021 both in the AHL.

A bunch of guys from the 2022 draft are in the minors and could be a call up for a few games without being as in over their heads as let's say Henriksson.

I'm not saying "I wish we had a unicorn that shit gold." We have a gap at C for the 19-22 age range. Maybe BMB takes that step. Maybe Korczak. But we have a lack of C depth for THIS season, and the organizational youth can't cover it. It's a valid concern.

it would be a valid concern if we didnt have 3 NHL top 6 centers all under 32

If Wheeler or Goodrow were an option at 3C in case of injury, I'd agree. If anyone gets banged up in the postseason, we can't trot out Bonino as a 3C. IMO, we need 3.5 top 9 C. That extra half a guy makes a huge difference when talking about "depth."

Noah Laba looks pretty good as well

That's why it was unfortunate we missed out on the Ryan McAllister sweepstakes last season. He's off to a good start as a pro. 13 points in 14 regular season AHL games so far. Hopefully we grab TJ Hughes when he goes pro. That would help fill that center gap. Both former teammates for the Brooks Bandits in the AJHL. We invited another one of their former teammates Zack Bookman to our prospect camp this summer. He's having a great year.

IMO Sean Walker would be the best rental as a bottom pair D. Can play both sides and move the puck. We could use size, but I just do not see anyone available... Zadorov but I just don't see it happening

His name was brought up recently, Trenin would be another solid add for depth in the bottom6
