I wonder if Chytil could find some chemistry with Panarin and Kakko etc.
only if they pass to Chytil. Don’t expect it the other way around until he proves otherwise. Lol

Hell no
Are you literally going to every team’s roster building thread and doing this?
You starting up with me again? Even though there has been smoke around the Eichel rumors the last few weeks? Even though @Edge hinted there was some things going on there? Even though Adam Hermann has info?but get Eichel right?
Idk, I'm not really high on Libor anymore. I feel like Lindgren is what Hajek was supposed to be, just maybe not as much bite. A modern day defensive-defenseman, reliable in his own zone, physical, skates well and can make some decent passes. Truthfully, I don't think any of those things have translated well for him at all. He's still young, next season is a fresh year but he's gonna have to bring it cuz so far it's been pretty ugly. The kid that I'm most intrigued about is Libor Hajek. Sometimes you need more reps and experience, but really what makes me think he should be able to play well is his body composition and skating ability. He is what I would categorize as a thick boy. At his height and mass and the speed and power he can generate, the guy has the athletic tools of some really good defensemen. We're talking McAvoy, Doughty, Bourque. We know Libor can take a hit like it's nothing... but that's thanks to being a thicker body out there. I'm not suggesting he's going to be a great player, but rather pointing out that center of mass on that body type has it's advantages on the ice
If he learns a little physics and applies said physics to the physicality of his game, you can get a guy who can be a deceptively powerful asset out there, especially in short bursts along the walls. The other thing is that Libor can really fly, so as a puck transporter he's more than NHL capable. The minutes are there for the taking. Someone's gotta grab them.
You know, there's a lot of ground in between overpriced stars and the scraps we have now.In Miller-Rykov-Lindgren-Hajek we believe!
2 yrs:How should we transform our defense to that of a contender?
Smith is gone next season (with Johnson)
Johnson - DeAngelo
Smith - Trouba
Lindgren - Fox
Bitetto
Hajek
Lundkvist will 100 % be there most likely over trouba pushing Schneider outK'Andre-Trouba
Lindgren/Reunanen-Fox
Robertson-Schneider
Lundkvist will 100 % be there most likely over trouba pushing Schneider out
It seems it is between a group of 8 guys. In other words, not a great draft tô win the lottery. So who's the top pick in the draft next year?
So we get rid of both Deangelo and Lundkvist?? Is this team allergic to right handed offensive defenseman?Nils gets traded within the next 12 months.

And because its so incredibly comparable debating the team acquiring a 23 year old center to a 29 year old LHD....
Take a hike dude. No one has time for your BS negativity coupled with the condescending patronizing tone you take with anyone you disagree with. You aint running the team. Like has been said so many times before, the fans on this board worry much more about the cap than the actual GMs do.
I could see it, but that has to be for a very big fish. One could certainly argue Nils value might never be higher than it is nowNils gets traded within the next 12 months.
I don’t see a situation where neither DeAngelo nor Lundkvist is a Ranger in 2022.
Would be nice to keep them both.
