All in good fun. Not attacking in any way. Let's just say that I don't think that Kucherov would be the one dealt to get Tampa out of cap hell. Sergachev? Maybe.

Just stop talking ABOUT people and maybe start doing what you just did instead, ok.

Stamkos is next to have been asked and if that doesn't work out, what's next?

In my years here I've never attacked any individual poster. Just trying to make the point that Kucherov being dealt as a means for Tampa to get cap compliant is never going to happen. The idea is outlandish. I'm sorry if you interpreted it as such.

Rykov sucks. He's not going to be anything more than he is already. He can carve out a nicer career in Russia than he would in North America. He's best off staying in the KHL.
I didn’t know he was a bad player. That’s a shame. I was hoping it was just the injury that set him back and that he would bounce back and complete for a spot on the left side in the future. If he is that terrible then his trade value will also be negligible. Oh well, can’t win them all. Thanks.

The injury did set him back majorly in terms of his skating, but from what my Hartford guy says, it doesn't matter much. The guy was lost in his own end. Made a lot of critical errors in the defensive zone and lots of blown coverage that directly resulted in goals against last season.

Yeah, my idea was that this year is Tampas and the next year is Rangers. "Let's se what we can trade". I had a not entirely serious position in the post which the story might have implied.

Wait a minute, you're not seriously suggesting that Tampa is gonna trade...Kucherov to try and become cap compliant, right? I mean, you couldn't be suggesting that? Right?

Since I assume you didn't read that post... first Tyler Johnsson (which was never going to happen because of his low value) and then rumours about Stamkos.

Would you roll the dice on Stamkos if TB ate a little bit of his cap hit?

That'd be a ballsy move

Friedman talked about this today.

Said TB has approached Stamkos about waiving, but sense is Stamkos won’t waive for a state where he will be taxed. Seeing as how he took much less actual salary to stay in Florida.

Ok...but again, you can't really be seriously suggesting that? It was a joke, right? No one on earth could be that clueless to suggest Kucherov getting traded as a cap casualty. It just defies all logic. You're not suggesting that, right?

Am I worrying you or something? :) Isn't all "ideas" good? Must we follow reality all the way? Since you seem to STILL not have read it I can tell you it wasa f***IN' joke of God's grace! I was LMFA off when I saw the fit between Rangers and Tampas "Horizons" = Rangers will be real good soon.

But they MAY be drinking buddies, Panarin and Kucherov.

I'm still confused, so you were being serious? or not?

NO. Not serious. I admit.

I think Tampa has a plan they follow where they look under every stone to make their team come out of a bad situation. My serious idea is for them to sign Cernak and then Trade Cirelli with Johnsson for something small.

And Kucherov's contract is also very good for Tampa. Especially in five years (long term).

Have a great day!

Jagr would have literally killed him. IMO. What a petulant toddler Ward has been acting like towards the Rangers. It didn't work out here. Get over it.
He chased the money and stopped playing hockey. The only effort he showed was when he threw the tantrum that led to him going back to Carolina.

I was big time in Lias' corner for basically his whole time here.

But after everything he did after his last demotion and everything that came out in the media, I can comfortable say good riddance.
Yeah. I was very willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, and guess he had been wronged, if even to a small degree. But the more I read, it appears he just didn’t like his role, wanted to move on, and couldn’t be bothered to work/wait it out.
