One of the more bizarre posts I have ever read on this board and I have a read a lot of bernmeister’s insane asylum material.
Yeah, imaginary...dealing with another teams bad situation

Sorry guys but I was in Florida yesterday and gambled away (black instead of white-blue-red) Buchie, Howden, Gauthier, Kravtsov and defenders DeAngelo and Rykov and a few draft picks. Stamkos (the guy who betted against) looked five years younger coming out of the bubble.
ALL I got in return was Panarins drinking buddy (Kucherov) and Tampa Bay heavy headache Sergachev. MAN, were Tampa Bay GM relieved! And Cirelli and Cernak jumped from joy. Contracts! Contracts! Also let them (The GM there spoke only french and he didn't say his name and if he did I didn't understand what he said) do what they want with our non top 2 goalies (we might get Curtis McElhinney and his wife shopping for a few weekends) and unload Coburn or Schenn on our sorry asses if they wanted to.
[Clever Steve Urkel-style] - Does NOTHING with our cup run in 2021-22 which look like this:
Kreider - Chytil - UFA guy
Panarin - Zibanejad - Kucherov (the bear)
Lafreniere - Strome - Kakko
Lemieux - TBD - TBD
Sergachev - Trouba
Lindgren - Fox
Hajek - (Hot Shot via trade)
Shesterkin
Georgiev
And 18 month to prepare the playoffs roster
Now I have a problem. Tampa Bay mobsters want MORE for Kucherov and Serge! (In sleazy russian: "That's a very nice teddybear you're having there"). Those bastards don't know what cap space is with all the money flowing upwards I was thinking. And I'm not going out now, hidding with a view so to speak. I'm thinking YOU could take the heat and maybe make them happy. We take on a lot of salary and they complain. I say, Go out and buy a Bogosian or Kevorkian or two!
I'm not sure if I should be more afraid for you for writing this or me for reading it.

I can tell you what the “JFC” username came to mean as I was reading it.
Why is Panarin-Zibanejad-Kucherov listed as the second line?[Clever Steve Urkel-style] - Does NOTHING with our cup run in 2021-22 which look like this:

Best second line in the league IMO.Thinking Kreider with his speed and Chytil should forecheck the hell outta top opposition. Preferably Arvidsson to the right.

The kid that I'm most intrigued about is Libor Hajek. Sometimes you need more reps and experience, but really what makes me think he should be able to play well is his body composition and skating ability. He is what I would categorize as a thick boy. At his height and mass and the speed and power he can generate, the guy has the athletic tools of some really good defensemen. We're talking McAvoy, Doughty, Bourque. We know Libor can take a hit like it's nothing... but that's thanks to being a thicker body out there. I'm not suggesting he's going to be a great player, but rather pointing out that center of mass on that body type has it's advantages on the ice
If he learns a little physics and applies said physics to the physicality of his game, you can get a guy who can be a deceptively powerful asset out there, especially in short bursts along the walls. The other thing is that Libor can really fly, so as a puck transporter he's more than NHL capable. The minutes are there for the taking. Someone's gotta grab them.
Lmao a “lock” on the 3rd pair on a contender. Kid is barely a lock to be a healthy scratch on a bottom feeder team. WoofHe's a lock on a contender, third pairing with a real solid player. Have not seen Simek who might play with Karlsson in SJ.

Yeah, he's shown nothing so far.Lmao a “lock” on the 3rd pair on a contender. Kid is barely a lock to be a healthy scratch on a bottom feeder team. Woof

THAT's what you got out of that post? Why is Panarin-Zibanejad-Kucherov listed as the second line?
I’m curious if anyone knows, Yegor Rykov was being talked about by the media people who follow this team to be the one rookie defensemen to make this team out of camp based on his early play in training and then he had that (high ankle sprain) injury. He took awhile to rehab and the played in Hartford. Since then he has completely fell off the radar. Does anyone have any insight on what happened? Is he still in the organization’s future? If not what is his path moving forward?
THAT's what you got out of that post?![]()
Jagr would have literally killed him. IMO. What a petulant toddler Ward has been acting like towards the Rangers. It didn't work out here. Get over it.If anyone is looking for a good story to pass some offseason time, Aaron Ward talks about almost fighting Jagr on the bench in '07
Ward on almost fighting former teammate Jaromir Jagr
All in good fun. Not attacking in any way. Let's just say that I don't think that Kucherov would be the one dealt to get Tampa out of cap hell. Sergachev? Maybe. Are you a person who can't let things pass?
Rykov sucks. He's not going to be anything more than he is already. He can carve out a nicer career in Russia than he would in North America. He's best off staying in the KHL.I’m curious if anyone knows, Yegor Rykov was being talked about by the media people who follow this team to be the one rookie defensemen to make this team out of camp based on his early play in training and then he had that (high ankle sprain) injury.
